Plot summary

For thousands of years the two amphibious races, The Nautolans and Anselmi lived peacefully on the planet Glee Anselm. However tensions began to rise as Anselmi nation flourished and their needs grew. The Nautolans were generous and gave the Anselmi some of their territory. The Anselmi took the territory and continued to grow and flourish. As time went on the Anselmi continued to expand and competed for resources with the Nautolans. Some Anselmi simply wish to take what they needed, increasingly believing the Nautolans to be weak and ignorant. Knowing that war with the Nautolans would be unwise, the Anselmi instead claimed ownership over the lands above them.

In the years that followed the Anselmi expanded over the vast island, building temples and spired cities. Ever expanding, the Anselmi constructed great dams around their island, pushing back the ocean and claiming more land for themselves. The Nautolans sent warnings that the Anselmi were out of balance and they continue to risk angering the ocean spirit, but the warnings went unheard. Then the ocean spirit rose against them and send tidal waves and storms until the dams broke and flooded the Anselmi island. Balance has been restored but only a handful of Anselmi survived.
