Vegicus

The vegicus were a non-sentient species that lived in the bilges and storage nooks of long-haul starships. As such, they were considered a vermin. Dwoogan, who served as a cook aboard the transport barge Wayward Current, occasionally prepared vegicus tails fried in oil. They were considered a good source of protein.^[1]
