Veda pearls were a type of pearl used as a decorative element in clothing. Queen Padmé Amidala of Naboo wore a Shiraya fan headdress with white veda pearl beading and glass filaments,[2] gathered in suspensas that encircled her head.[1]
Behind the scenes
Veda pearls were invented for the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, and were first identified in the associated reference book Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary, which was written by David West Reynolds.[2]
