A Vandor survivalist jacket was a type of highly durable jacket that was used on^[1] the Mid Rim planet^[2] Vandor to protect a being from world's cold. It's large collar was lined with white fur with the inner lining consisting of a dark grey material, contrasting with the jackets light grey color. Brown fabric ran down the outer side of the jacket's sleeves and three gold colored cylinder were attached to the upper left sleeve. A gold colored circle with a semicircular symbol and a rectangle at the bottom was attached to the upper-right chest of the jacket. The jacket also included a pair of grey gloves, a tan belt over a grey waist sash, and a turquoise shirt that was worn underneath it.^[1] The Quarren merchant Sol D'lorak had at least one Vandor survivalist jacket from his store in the Thieves' Quarter of Kijimi City on the Mid Rim planet Kijimi^[1] in 3 ABY. That year,^[3] that survivalist jacket was part of D'lorak's inventory that they offered to members and allies of the local Ashiga Clan.^[1]

Behind the scenes

A Vandor survivalist jacket appeared in the video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.^[1] Prior to the game's release on August 30, 2024,^[4] it was first pictured in the game's "Dispatch: Adventures with Nix" that was released on June 10 of the same year.^[5] When equipped by the player, the jacket reduces damage taken from blaster and projectile weapons as well as preventing damage from interrupting the health regeneration effects of bacta.^[1] Iuliia Misiul created concept art of the Vandor survivalist belt and other outfits used by Vess.^[6]
