Uploading pictures

Hy, I'm new to this wiki and I wanted to upload an image of some droids (Unit 07, 08 and 09) from TCW episode Rookies, and it gives me an error each time I try and upload the file (even when I complete all the fields). Do i have to get a certain edit count to upload images? How can I solve this problem? TheMasterMind 11:30, January 14, 2012 (UTC)

Again, it wasn't about reproduction, and it certainly wasn't about trying to "research my fantasies." It was a legitimate question about whether these parts exist in the Star Wars universe. Has this been enough clarification for you to restore my thread? As I said on the other administrator's talk page, I wasn't using Wookieepedia as an outlet for pornography or even nudity, even though Wookieepedia clearly allows nudity and isn't censored. If I was looking to get my jollies off, I certainly wouldn't go looking for blue naked aliens. All I wanted to know whether these organs exist and if so, whether there's pictures for articles. Well, I finally found out how to get an avatar photo. I think that I needed 25 edits or something. Why can't I edit!

OK, I was fine with this stupid april fools joke until it prevented me from editing. THis new stupid policy prevents anyone (besides co-consperitors in April fools joke) from editing unless you go to an admin to approve it, am I right? If you want to make a good joke, don't disrupt the entire wiki community. Let the users who are actualy working on articles and not undoing your changes edit. Killer Gank, dynamite with a laser beam

Hey, Xd. I posted this on Menkooroo's page, but he's not sure what the procedure is here. Basically, I noticed the recent AC probe of Gank, and the question of whether Gank and Gank Killer should be separate articles. I've been doing some preliminary research on this question, and my conclusion is that they should not be separate. While in earlier sources it is ambiguous whether all Ganks are necessarily Gank Killers, ever since A Guide to the Star Wars Universe (Third Edition), they two terms have been established as synonyms. The most recent source to mention the matter, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, maintains this stance. There's no info in the Gank Killer article that isn't also present in Gank, and I've made sure the source and appearance list at Gank has been expanded to take into account those at Gank Killer. That means a simple redirect of Gank Killer to Gank should be the only "merge" necessary. However, I know that there's sometimes some merger magic that needs to be done to merge not just the articles but their edit histories as well. Do you know if that's the case here?       • Actually, it's a Bad Idea™ to histmerge two pages following a text merge, as that mixes the histories together and makes the page history almost impossible to follow. Histmerges should only be done on cut-and-paste moves. For attribution purposes, the best solution for text-merges is to stick a note on the talk page with a link to the history of the page it was merged from. You deleted some images from the site. I did supply a source, just so you know. When reading the source requirements, it stated that I needed to post the specific link, so I attempted to link it as specifically as possible. I.E.:

I understand about the capitalizing, but why did you delete the Unidentified Clone Trooper (Kamino) page? It was not a duplicate of Unidentified clone trooper 2 (Kamino), which is actually the Unidentified clone trooper (Kamino). The second one I created was about a clone that wielded a blaster carbine, which was not the same clone as the one who noticed Skywalker which wielded a different kind of rifle. Quick Question

I've been working on Shepherd, and I was wondering if you could answer a small question. Osvald says "I must have checked for escape pods, failed to find any, and.....". Would it be speculation to add that the Shepherd had escape pods, because he could have failed to find some due to the fact there were none, or can we infer that there was pods? Return of the Ewok

I saw that you redirected Return of the Ewok to the fan wiki. I think it should be restored as an exception to the fan film redirects, because it isn't really a fan film; it was made on the set of ROTJ by one of the crewmembers and involved participation by all the main cast.   • Full agreement from me, and a plea for Fanboys as well. They're not "fan films" in the traditional sense, and I don't believe that either one falls within the scope of the recent CT. Fanboys is more akin to Spaceballs than a fan film, and Return of the Ewok is more akin to R2-D2: Beneath the Dome. Menkooroo 02:37, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
    • The CT in question was about moving all fan films to the SWfans wiki, and that's what was done. I had a look at the two articles mentioned above, and I personally do not see anything that makes them immensely different from the rest of the fan films. Fanboys definitely falls under the purview of the CT, while Return of the Ewok could possibly be an exception. However, the CT took place, and the consensus was to delete them all. Re: Categorizing

I have already categorized the images from season three after I finished creating all of the unidentified character articles for it, and I will do the same after I finish season four. I'll probably do the same for season one and two. It's very tedious to add categories after each upload, I would much rather concentrate on writing the article itself.
