Welcome, Wetrosky!Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH (talk) 00:06, March 4, 2013 (UTC) |

It's called context. We add context to most things in the article body. Please stop removing it. 1358 (Talk) 21:49, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
Removing talk page content
Please do not remove content from talk pages, even your own, as talk pages are public records. Thank you for your cooperation.—Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 02:21, March 25, 2013 (UTC)
Experimenting
Thanks for experimenting with Wookieepedia. Your test worked and has been removed. Please see the help page on editing if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you need to make further test edits, please use Wookieepedia:Jundland Wastes. Thanks. Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:22, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
Re:Message
Wetrosky, if you have something to say to me, I would ask that you do it in person and not hide behind an IP address—because it's fairly clear that's you. I reverted your edits to Wampa because the article in question is a Featured Article, and therefore is held to certain standards. Your edits were detrimental to the article's formatting, and they were also unsourced, which is normally grounds for immediate reversion. I did, however, add in your suggestions and with a few others with sourcing. I'm sorry if I've hurt your feelings or something, but one of our main goals here is to preserve the quality of our articles. Cade Calrayn 03:49, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
- Allow me to repeat this. Unless you source your information, it will likely be reverted. Thank you. Cade
Calrayn 04:42, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
- Please refer to this page prior to any more article additions. Your information needs to be sourced, within the article. Sourcing it in the edit summary will not suffice, you need to cite it within the article. Please refer to our sourcing guidelines, which have been linked, so that you can see what is required. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will help you to the best of my ability. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:20, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
- When formatting citations, please make sure that they are written out fully, ie: <ref name="The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia">''[[The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia]]''</ref> Also, if the page does not have it, please add a "Notes and references" section and include {{Reflist}}. You can see the formatting here. Thanks. :) Trak Nar Ramble on 06:04, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
Eke
Eke- To add, increase, or augment.
Eke out- To supplement; to obtain or increase with great effort
"With his meager paycheck and mounting debt, he managed to eke out a living."
I hope that clears up some confusion. :) Trak Nar Ramble on 04:38, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
Nank
I reverted your edit because it removed the interlang section. Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:31, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
How To
I just want to know I have been a member since March 4th and, is still cant edit semi-protected pages Wetrosky 03:31, March 30, 2013(UTC)
- I can't really help you on this, as I don't know why that's happening. What page are you trying to edit? Cade
Calrayn 01:09, March 31, 2013 (UTC)
What's happening Cade is that I can't edit semi-protected page and I want to, even though I have been a member for more than four days. What am I asking is, is their something for me to do to be able to edit semi-protected pages if so please answer. User:Wetrosky 21:00 ET, March 30, 2013
- Hi there Wetrosky, you're wasting your time as Cade is not an administrator and is unlikely to help you out. You might be best to approach one of the admins here: Wookieepedia:Administrators#List of administrators. Hope that helps. Rokkur Shen (talk) 09:34, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, Wetrosky. Are you sure the articles in question are semi-protected? Can you give me an example? Cade
Calrayn 04:17, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Huh. Wait, can you actually click the edit button on the page? Because if you are seeing a rectangle with this: "Note: This page has been protected so that only registered users can edit it. The latest log entry is provided below for reference:" then you're perfectly fine. That's just a notification; you're still able to save your edits. Cade

Blanking pages
Please do not blank pages. If a page should be deleted, it should be marked with the delete template, after which an administrator can delete it. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 15:42, March 31, 2013 (UTC)
Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for 2 weeks for blanking Zombie Ewok in direct violation of the warning immediately above. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. —MJ— War Room 19:42, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Administrative note for the record and future reference: Block was reduced to 24 hours following this appeal and discussion. —MJ— Training Room 04:20, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
Fanon
No problem. Sorry that was not what I meant. I have to admit, I myself was fed up with the April Foolery around here. Went on waaaaaaaaaaay too long in my opinion and was not exactly helpful for new users. I attempted to remove the pages also. Anyway, welcome back and happy editing! Signing comments
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wookieepedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Trip391 (talk) 02:47, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Again, you have to sign your comments. Trip391 (talk) 03:00, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
- And here is your friendly administrative warning: Wookieepedia's signature policy requires, among other things, that "You must have a link back to your userpage in your signature." Please modify your signature so that it contains a link to your user page. Thank you and have a Wookiee-tastic day! —MJ— Council Chambers 04:30, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
- How do I do that? Also please don't ban me for doing this message. I switched my user name. —Unsigned comment by Wetro (talk • contribs) 04:59, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Go into Special:Preferences and either 1) modify the "Custom signature" box to include a link to your userpage, using standard wikitext markup, or 2) uncheck the box next to "Treat the above as wiki markup.", which will cause the software to create an automatic link to your userpage using the text in the box as your display name. I just now updated the explanation of that checkbox to be more detailed and explain what it does, so hopefully that will help you. —MJ— Holocomm 17:23, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

What? I have been a user for 5 months. —Unsigned comment by Wetro (talk • contribs) 02:55, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Toprawa has been a user a little longer that, but you put a welcome iP template on his talk page. Trip391 (talk) 03:00, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for one month for ignoring the warning under "Signing comments" above. Your signature must contain a link to your user page. That should not be hard to understand, yet you refuse to do it. When you come back, I expect to see a user page link in your signature the first time you leave a comment on a talk page, or else you will be blocked again. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. —MJ— War Room 04:31, January 25, 2014 (UTC)
- This block has been reduced to time served, per this appeal and discussion. —MJ— War Room 05:40, February 9, 2014 (UTC)
