Sources
Hi, just letting you know that there shouldn't be any source listed after merchandise like this since they are, as of right now, unreleased. Only after the latest release date passes can sources start being added after them. Thanks. UberSoldat93 (talk) 12:47, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Archive for SW.com
Hi, just want to point out that you don't need to fill out the "archivedate" if it's already in the repository. UberSoldat93 (talk) 11:01, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Sources and appearances
Hi! I just wanted to refresh you on how "appearances" lists work on articles for reference works, because it's different than in the lists on narrative media works. To use the Millennium Falcon as an example, if it appears in a novel or TV episode, then you put the entire hierarchy of its model in the appearances list as well, from the ship's type all the way down to its specific model. However, if the Falcon is mentioned in a reference work, you do not do that unless any of these things are specifically mentioned or pictured: e.g., if the Falcon is mentioned, but the term "freighter" is not, then you just put the ship's name in the appearances list, and leave out freighter. The same goes for characters: just because Ahsoka Tano is mentioned doesn't mean that her species was, and if her species isn't mentioned in the reference work, you leave it out. To use an example from a recently-created article, Ships of the Galaxy: The Halcyon Starcruiser mentions Oga's Cantina. As this is the name of the business, it does not constitute a separate mention of owner Oga Garra, whose name should not be in the appearances list. I hope this makes things clearer for you. StarWars.com articles
Please note that the Layout Guide states that "Star Wars Blog posts are only listed in the Sources section if they contain unique canonical information." Blog posts like
The Lessons of Fatherhood in Star Wars on StarWars.com (backup link) and
Quiz: Which Obi-Wan Kenobi Are You? on StarWars.com (backup link) do not meet this criteria and should accordingly not be listed in the Sources due to their trivial nature. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 12:13, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
Archiveurl to archivedate
Hi! When editing (ex: George Lucas) a {{Cite_web}} instance using archiveurl to archivedate, please do not just conserve the timestamp (YYYYMMDDhhmmss), but also make sure the url is the same as the one in the archiveurl.
For example:
{{Cite_web|url=http://collider.com/han-solo-movie-george-lucas-star-wars-story/#ron-howard|title='Solo: A Star Wars Story': How George Lucas Helped Shape a Scene Aboard the Falcon|author=Trumbore, Dave|date=2018-02-09|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20200105114010/https://collider.com/han-solo-movie-george-lucas-star-wars-story}}
The url parameter should not be kept as "http://collider.com/han-solo-movie-george-lucas-star-wars-story/#ron-howard" but should be replaced instead by the one in the archiveurl (minus the archive.org part of the url): "https://collider.com/han-solo-movie-george-lucas-star-wars-story", as logically that's the version of the url the timestamp is associated with. FAN
Hi Vader - please do not make major changes to articles currently undergoing the Featured article nomination process as you did to Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex. Instead, you can make objections on the nomination page. Thank you. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 22:52, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
This Week! in Star Wars
Hi Vader327, I wanted to thank you for updating the This Week! in Star Wars page and adding new images for the first two weeks of January. Have been updating the page for the past three years. It's good to see another Wookieepedian working on the article as well. Appreciate your help and keep up the good work. Andykatib 01:30, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

Minas Velti
Hey there, do you have any plans to nominate Minas Velti? You've done a lot of great work on her and I'd love to see you move forward with it. If not, would you be okay if I pursued the nomination? NBDani (they/them)Yeager's Repairs 15:33, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
