Welcome, Teeky!

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: right|180px

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Green Tentacle (Talk) 19:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Favorite character

Please do not recreate the article. It's not how we do things here at Wookieepedia. -- SFH 21:54, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

  • When I said don't recreate it, I was quite serious. Do it again, and you will be blocked. -- SFH 23:19, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
  • okay

Re: those things

Those are userboxes. We have a list of templates here. You can also make custom userboxes relatively easily; just look at the code on other users' userpages by hitting the Edit button at the top of the page. (But don't save any changes to others' userpages!) Note that you will be banned if your number of userpage edits is too much higher than your number of article edits; Wookieepedia is not MySpace. Also remember to enter four tildes (~~~~) at the end of talk page and forum page posts. Gonk (Gonk!) 17:03, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

E-mail in Episode IV

Where have you seen an e-mail appearing in Episode IV? You keep adding it each time you log in and I am sure there is none. Can I know your reasoning? MoffRebus 08:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for replying. But what is that book's name? You should mention its exact title in the Appearances section, not the movie's title. MoffRebus 07:22, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Even if we needed the article (which is a general, vague, and irrelevant topic anyway), an article needs to be properly formatted and written, per the WP:MOS and Wookieepedia:Layout Guide, along with generally good grammar and spelling. Please attempt to improve your editing in those regards and don't make articles on such irrelevant and random topics, as it will be considered vandalism. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 01:57, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
    • No. Who are these "severla people" that want it? And it's nothing more than a vague reference rather than a separate canonical term, so it hardly merits an article. That would be like making an article on "feelings", which we won't do. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 20:46, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
      • Just because an administrator (make that two, Ataru and me) have voiced their opinion on a certain idea, that does not give you an excuse to write what you did on Ataru's talk page. If you feel the need to create the article, you will be doing so against the warning of two admins and you will be blocked accordingly. Understood? Also, it would be appreciated if you would remember to sign your name on talk pages by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). Thank you, Greyman(Paratus) 22:47, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
        • At any rate, I'm not a bureaucrat. If you would like to set up a vote for removal of adminship, please see WP:RFRA and follow the instructions. Greyman has addressed the rest of your statement, though I found your post much too humourous to merit a block or anything like that. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 23:30, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
          • Yes, I found it humourous as well. Though, it was discussed with other administrators and determined that it constituted a PA, though a humourous one. Greyman(Paratus) 23:36, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Administrator

  • The process for being chosen as an administrator is described at WP:RFA. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 21:46, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
    • I'd imagine it was based on my contributions to the site, dealings with other users, and apparently that more responsibility would help me in my work on Wookieepedia. Aside from that, there isn't much I can do to help you become an administrator, because anyone who just wants to become an admin and nothing else always fails at it. QOTD

  • Hey, don't freak out too much about having your votes crossed. New policy says you need a minimum of 50 edits to articles, and you're currently at 42. It's just temporary. As soon as you hit 50, the votes get un-crossed. Check the QOTD instructions or the link next to your votes. Enochf 20:22, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Teek

Please do not add a link to your userpage on Teek again. There are many Wookieepedians with usernames taken from or inspired by things in the Star Wars universe, but we can't all go adding ourselves to their articles. -- Ozzel 07:10, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Re:WOTM

Thanks Teeky. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 13:12, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

  • And I must thank you, also. Becoming WOTM is hard, but now I feel like a rockstar. Graestan(Talk) 05:19, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
