Welcome, Sorcay!Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH (talk) 22:15, July 19, 2012 (UTC) |
Warning
Please do not add nonsense to Wookieepedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the Jundland Wastes sandbox. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 23:49, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Anything that is not comprehensible in plain, basic English with spelling and grammar constitutes as vandalism and will be removed from the site. If you require help with wiki editing, please look at Help:Contents. CC7567 (talk) 23:58, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
Sorcay, please stop adding fan fiction to Wookieepedia. Further breaching of Wookieepedia policy, as you have already been warned several times, will result in blocking. I would highly recommend that you become familiar with all of Wookieepedia's policies before continuing to contribute. Your cooperation is appreciated. CC7567 (talk) 01:07, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
Zannah's Slumber
Although I'm no native speaker of the English language, I still know that "techinique" should be "technique" and "rouge" should be "rogue". So yes, I'll keep "learning English", as you put it, but you should learn to create an article before actually doing it. You may find our Manual of Style and Layout Guide useful. A work in progress is not an excuse for a blatant lack of proof. Even in a very early draft, sources should always be included so that no one could doubt the accuracy and veracity of your edits. Thank you for your cooperation. --LelalMekha (talk) 23:55, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Might I add: we do not have to disprove anything. You, on the contrary, are supposed to prove everything when you create a article. It is a basic rule. That's just how it works. Wookieepedia is an encyclopedia, not some place where you can just throw informations without justifying them. "The necessity of proof always lies with the person who lays charges." --LelalMekha (talk) 01:23, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
Fanon warning
| User warning: Fanon.
Please do not add your own fan-fiction to Wookieepedia articles. If you continue to add fanon to the site, you will be banned. Your input might be more welcome at the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.Grand Moff Tranner |
- I don't need to disprove it when it's clearly fanon. More importantly, I can prove that I'll block you if you try to recreate it. Grand Moff Tranner
