Welcome message
You put up my welcome message when I joined and I was wondering if there is any way to get that off my talk page. I tried to delete it before but it just reappeared. Kyp 02:57, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

User Blocking on DCAU
Hello! I am a user on this site, among others, including the DCAU wiki. My IP address was recently blocked by yourself, as another user whom was writing non-canon information was using my IP address. I was wondering whether this block could be lifted, and if it could be enquired how "Elcidboy" came to have obtained the exact same IP address as mine. Thank you. Zupkem.
- I unblocked him and re did the block to exclude his IP address. How he actually got the address, I don't know, but you should be able to use it again. -- SFH 00:04, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much!Zupkem
- Never mind... I just went on DCAU wiki and the address is still blocked.Zupkem

Re: Redirects
Hey, SFH. I'm not actually changing the text of the links, so if it says [[Darth Vader]] in an article, I'm simply changing it to [[Anakin Skywalker/Legends|Darth Vader]] to clean out the redirects. It's more a personal preference of mine, since (in my opinion) redirects are great for searching in the search bar, but I don't think they are that great in an actual article. Again, just my opinion, since I know of several users who just prefer to link to Darth Vader, the redirect page, instead of doing the pipe link. Greyman(Talk) 19:33, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
LOTF
I'm currently reading Legacy of the Force and Han never worked with Thraken. He was working for Corellia. NaruHina Talk 20px 01:41, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- I know. Truth be told, I need to update my userpage. Now my problem with LOTF is not with Han siding with Thracken. It's that they ruined Jacen Solo and made it sound like a recycling of the Prequel plot. -- SFH 01:45, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Electric Judgment Talk Revert
I recently deleted a message that I posted way back then. Well, the first paragraph was about the image of Plo Koon and about the possibility that it was really "Disable/Destroy Droid" not electric judgment. However, the second paragraph was some unnecessary debate stuff that should not be on this wiki. That's why I deleted it. But you reverted it. So I figured that I should get permission from an admin to do so. If you don't mind, I think it'd be better that I delete the second paragraph. Cyfiero 07:41, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello...
Hey! My name is Kgrimes2 and I just wanted to know how to "source" images so they will not disappear. Thanks! <~Kg®imes2~> 21:33, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- What do you mean "disappear"? -- SFH 21:39, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- I upload images, and soon they disappear and the image name shows in place of the picture. None of the pictures I posted were inappropiate in any way. <~Kg®imes2~> 23:11, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello
Hi! I'm a HUGE fan of Star Wars! It's my favorite movie/trilogy. Thats why this wikia is my favorite one! Are you an administrator? And who is the genious who founded this wikia? I would very much like to talk to him. Also, would you say that the Force pikes used by the Emperor's Royal Guard are the same weapons, the lightsaber lances, them and the Emperor's Shadow Guard use in The Force Unleashed or are they two different weapons? If you could, get back to me on that as soon as you can. Thank you! Mateo22 02:03, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I am an admin. You can find the history of Wookieepedia at it's article. And I'm sorry, but I've never played The Forced Unleashed, so I wouldn't know if the weapons are similar. -- SFH 02:06, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Actually I recently read articles that answer my question. The two are both completly different weapons because the guards use the pikes normally but used the lances primarily in TFU. Also, thanks for giving me the link to learn more about this wikia, but why do the words describing pictures end in a period? On other wikias, whenever I see a picture on a page with a description, there is no period at the end. Whats up with that? Thanks! Mateo22 18:29, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- NVM about my last message. I guess some ppl think that makes wikias look better. The period at the end of sentences describing a picture does seem more proper, and it's changing to that with every picture on a wikia I see more and more! Well, that confusion is solved. Also, have you read my idea for another SW game on my page? If not, I'll just tell you right here: It should have Grievous as the main character. This would be AWSOME because if playing as Darth Vader in a storyline prologue level was that good with fans, imagine how cool it'd be to play as Grievous for the WHOLE GAME!!! I would absolutely love that!!! What do you think? Write back soon! Mateo22 16:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
My ideas
When you get the chance, go to my user page and read the section "Next game". Thanks! Mateo22 04:18, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks For The Warm Reception!
I'm pretty new to Wookieepedia, and to be honest, I really don't know much beyond the original and new trilogy's. Other Star Wars media are hard for me to find, where I live. But I'm an admin of Halopedia, and I'll certainly correct any facts/grammar/spelling that I can! -- Councillor Specops306 - Kora 'Morhek 03:05, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Also thanking you for the warm reception! While I really do not know much either beyond the original and the Thrawn trilogy, I am having lots of fun here already! Loriel 20:01, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Queries
I was wondering, what's the difference between an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer and an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer? Also, is it known exactly how the Jedi originated? Cheers, --Artist Walser 00:01, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely aware of the differences between an ISD I and an ISD II. You'd have to look at the ISD II article to give a better explanation. Also, the Jedi Order's exact origin is unknown, and probably will remain that way for some time. -- SFH 00:04, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, actually, I just took a look at the article about the ISD II, and it explains the differences at the beginning. Also, I think I read about some interesting Jedi history in Jedi vs. Sith. I might want to take another look at that sometime. It's just very interesting. --Artist Walser 00:10, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've noticed an interesting passage in Donald F. Glut's novelization of The Empire Strikes Back. Of Boba Fett, it says, "He was dressed in a weapon-covered, armored spacesuit, the kind worn by a group of evil warriors defeated by the Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars." I wonder if the warriors mentioned were the Mandalorians, and if the Jedi really did defeat them during the Clone Wars? --Artist Walser 02:12, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm already a member of wookieepedia I just joined darthipedia not wookieepedia i'm jawa700!!!!!! Darth abc 22:05, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Then I should take the time to advise you that as long as you're signed in as Darth abc while maintaining your original account, what you're doing is sockpuppetry. You're only allowed one account on this wiki, and unless you're closing the Jawa700, you could get blocked. I realize that wasn't your intention, so inform me of which account you'll no longer be using, because I have to block it so that you can't operate both accounts at once. -- SFH 00:28, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Re:Thanks
Thanks for the message, SFH! I've already edited a bit on Star Wars fanon, so I have a bit of experience. I've also just edited the page Battle of Nar Shaddaa, since there were some POV issues. If I need help, I'll let you know.
Redirect? Or no link?
Hey SFH. This page says that Aaren is/was a prime minister. I clicked the redlink to edit "Prime Minister" and it said Samaria in parentheses. Should this be redirected or left with no link at all? Thanks, JadenKorr13 04:44, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Prime Minister is intended to get an article at some point, as per Prime Minister. If you would like to argue merging of all of those pages, go ahead. -- SFH 04:55, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks. JadenKorr13 05:05, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Adding images
On my user page, and all other pages for that matter, how do you add images that are already on the site and how do you cite their source? For example, I want to add the image of R4-P17 in Revenge of the Sith. It's already on the R4-P17 article, but how do I put the image on my page or other pages.Sonic-Toad 00:54, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
P.S. I'm really glad to be on the site, and that you help people like me when we get stuck.Sonic-Toad 00:56, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Just copy the Image file name and add it to the page in question, but you may want to make it a thumbnail. Do that by adding "thumb" after the image file name. And be sure to put it in brackets. -- SFH 01:17, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I owe you. Check out my page sometime.Sonic-Toad 03:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

A few questions
Hi SFH, I have a few questions and I'm not sure where to find the answers -- feel free to refer me to where they may be found.
- I recently completed a requested merge of Skirmish at Calast station and Battle of Bundil II into the pre-existing and now fully comprehensive Rescue at Bundil II. The other two pages can now be deleted, but I couldn't find anything in the help pages about nominating for deletion or whatever the process is. How should I go about this?
- I used to contribute under a different account, which I retired a while back in favor of my current one. I haven't touched it since, but I realize that this could be an unintentional use of sockpuppetry, I believe it's called? Is there a way to permanently delete the old account?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. Axio Vanator 20:30, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Answers to you questions:
- Just redirect the pages to the combined page. No reason to delete.
- Inform me which account it was, and note on your userpage that you are no longer using that account, so that I can redirect it to your current userpage. I can't delete the account, but this is the best I could do. -- SFH 20:34, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good. I'm a little confused on the redirect process though...where is the best place to learn? And the old account was Brandon Peat, which no longer has anything on the main page. Thank you for your help! Axio Vanator 20:41, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi!
Hi! I'm from The Lightsaber Wiki and would like to contribute to Wookieepedia.
Is there a way that you could create a template for my wiki in turn for some edits for the 222,263 articles you have?
Cam12343 - December 19th, 2008 - http://lightsabers.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
P.S. I do not have a user page on Wookieepedia yet.
- I'm sorry, but templates are really not my thing. -- SFH 23:31, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
TIE/ln Starfighter
I was thinking about how "TIE" stands for Twin Ion Engine and I was then wondering, what does "ln" in TIE/ln starfighter stand for? Is it "light navigation"?--Artist Walser 16:39, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Number of Allowed Edits
At the current point in time, my internet's not too stable. It's been known to kick me out in the middle of whatever I'm doing, thereby resulting in whatever I was working on being lost. So when I started editing the article for Null 7, I'd save after I completed a section, or a type of edit. I.e., after adding a quote, rewriting the personality section, and changing the headings/ adding in skills. This resulted, obviously, in the work being counted as three seperate edits. But I don't want to break any rules. Is there a limit to how many times I'm allowed to edit any one page in a given amount of time? --Splinter Smile 08:58, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the welcome
All is in the title I guess ;)
Before I get started...
Thanks for putting the help links on my talk page. I'm brand new to the actual being a member side of wikis and hopefully will actually start editing and improving articles soon. One thing I do want to ask though: How do I get the userboxes (the smaller ones like the language ones) aligned neatly under the main user box? I have a bit of knowledge of HTML but WP seems to use a different type which makes that confusing. Thanks --Nayayen 23:50, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- I honestly don't know. I'm sorry. -- SFH 23:53, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I think I kinda sorted it anyway now. --Nayayen 00:03, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Lightsaber
A user named Bold Clone has deleted around 8,000 bytes from the Lightsaber page. It doesn't really seem beneficial to remove that much. Would you mind looking into it? I obviously have next to no authority over other users, and it seems like if I tried to revert his edits, I'd just get in an edit war. Greeting
Thanks! It's nice to be greeted. :)
I'm a new user here, but I'm not new to wikis. (Actually, I might not be a new user; not sure. Or does one wikia login work across all wikia subsites?) Mostly what I do is copyediting, so you won't see me make huge sweeping changes. I love the wiki concept and the MediaWiki software, but mostly just because I can fix other people's typos without it being the insulting-sounding email of "Hey, you got a problem here".
Again, thanks for the welcome. It's great that someone's friendly to new users! Rosuav 04:59, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Greetings
I appreciate the greetings, and am bringing you dire warnings through the force. Please read This communique regarding Vandalism and wikia-wide vandalism. Admins there also request you check with sannese @ central. Shoot straight and run fast, and as soon as I finish my template and edits, I will be posting more here. --Eternalseed 16:09, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
24.244.143.76
- Hello, recently today I was contacted by 24.244.143.76 on another wiki on this page regarding actions carried out here by another administrator on this wiki. I don't want to get into the middle of a conflict as I don't believe I'm properly suited to resolving this particular problem, and I know that you're a good administrator and can remain objective, so I was wondering if you would be able to check in to this for me. The user claims to have been blocked here so cannot contact anyone directly on the wiki. The only entries here related to the user on this wiki that I can find are here and here. Again, I'm just passing on a message from another wiki where I'm an admin, and not saying who is right in this conflict. Thanks very much, NighthawkLeader 02:20, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds like a user who got banned by Culator who is trying to vent, and Culator is feeding the troll. This happens a lot. -- SFH 04:40, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
New Article/In Trouble for Trying to Fix Problem/NO SENSE
I just realized I could ask you a question I have wanted to ask someone for a while. A few months ago, I was looking on the List of planets page. On the top, it said the article is too big (which it is), so I tried to fix it by creaing new pages. Right after, I got a note from an admin telling me not to do do that again. Well, I did and got the same response, except from a different admin. Since, no one has done anything to fix the page. Could you please explain this/give advice to me? And guess what? The pages I TRIED TO CREATE ( all palnet lists) now exist, and are selected for mergers! --Darth shohet 01:11, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry about it. Lists are in the process of being deleted, so it's a moot point. -- SFH 01:15, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Do you know how great it is to know there IS someone willing to answer your questions personally on the internet these days? Real great. --Darth shohet 01:18, 7 February 2009 (UTC) I think that the ryloth trilogy is awesome! Tom
