- Oops. I feel dumb. o.O Oh, and the deadline for the CIV proposal is the end of this month. That proposal I've made is yours to use or discard at your leisure, but we should probably get a solid idea of who's doing what soon. If you ask me to, I will do the necessary writing, the people who are actually going should also contribute, IMO. I won't bother you about this anymore, so don't worry about that. :-P Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 06:41, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- What you have written is very good and there have been no objections nor recommendations for additional material. If you can submit it, you should, but you might want to make sure everyone agrees on it in a forum thread to keep the idea fresh. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:42, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. Actually, since what I've written is under GFDL, I was going to ask jSarek (So far he seems to be the ranking definite attendee) to take a look at it and possibly submit it. I may examine that pdf file you linked to, but honestly, I don't know what all we're doing and what all we need. And of course, I will allow the community to judge any proposal I write. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 06:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Be sure to add a rough estimate of our users since that seemed to be something they want to know. I might put it around 1000 frequent contributors. I might be going and would then become the ranking attendee if that occured. Additionally I cannot be contacted with ease from Dec 26 to around Jan 5 for Christmas vacation elsewhere, so we need to get this all straightened out now. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:52, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Galaxies Star Charts
Looks like you're on the case with the Star Charts. There's lots of stuff there that hasn't been added yet in virtually every star system, plenty of ground to cover. I'm about through tonight, so have at it. Enochf 08:18, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Agriworlds
I doubt anyone would mind if you moved "agriworlds" to be a category of terrestrial planets. There's also a category for "fortress worlds." Enochf 09:00, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well isn't an agriworld a world that provides food, and not necessarily indicative of its surface feature designation? -- Riffsyphon1024 09:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm. Can't imagine there'd be a non-terrestrial agriworld... but I see what you mean. Enochf 09:04, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Isn't it quite possible to have a producer of food inside domed cities whereas the actual surface may be charred? Thus it can have two designations. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:06, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Wookieepedia:Votes for deletion/Category:Ooine planets
I'm extremely disappointed to see you nominate a category, close the debate, revert the edits and delete the category within 30 minutes. Even ignoring the fact that the growing trend here since summer 2005 has been to replace manually updated lists with automatic categories, it is unorthodox to just jump the VFD process because you and StarNeptune agreed. Please revert your deletion, reinstate the edits and reopen the VFD. — SparqMan Talk 17:55, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Regarding 35:3 as the date for the Battle of Yavin
Dear Riff,
Yes, by all means, add 35:3 as the official date for the Battle of Yavin. As I'm sure you know, the date was first established by the Star Wars Adventure Journal #3 in the very first Galaxywide NewsNets article. To be sure, it was applicable most of all to the dates for the dissolution of the Senate (35:3:05) and the destruction of Alderaan (circa 35:3:07 or thereabouts). But a careful examination of the number of days ANH takes place over (and unfortunately there is no exact count like there is for ROTS) makes it clear that there is no way the story could have carried over into the following month, 35:4. Tarkin's death was announced on 35:4:22 to have taken place the previous day, 35:4:21, but that was over the New Order Progressive, and we're talking about the Imperial propaganda machine here. The report didn't get any facts right, so why should they have been accurate about the date?
As I said, LFL hasn't gotten around to providing a day-and-event calendar like they did with ROTS, which is why I couldn't give an exact day along with the month and year. I'm sure we all hope they do get around to it, and if they do, I'll add a more exact date. Erik Pflueger 20px 22:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Talkheader
- Ah. No what I was doing was just clicking away at Random article, cleaning up any article I come across, and adding the talkpage header to each respective talkpage. If it's a problem, I can limit the addition of template to pre-exsisting talk pages. .... 08:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
C4
I'm glad you think the issue is in the past because last time I checked the page was still there. I also am glad that you don't bear anything personal against me, because I do seem to recall that you voted both for keeping the aforementioned page and for removing me as an admin. Given the huge amount of time, effort, and money I have poured into this site only to constantly be considered somewhere between a fifth column and a petty vandal, I'm very hard-pressed to consider spending an even larger amount of money and time in going to represent us at C4, especially since it seems to me the only reason I'm wanted to badly is because so few other admins/major users have decided to go. Regarding Wookieepedian of the Month nomination
Can I put up the "This user has been nominated for the Wookieepedian of the Month" infobox on your user page, seeing as you are now nominated? Alternatively, you can do it, it doesn't faze me... As long as your being properly represented! General Skywalker 04:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Administrator
- no, I am not kidding. I would love to be an administrator. Is there a time period in which I can be watched? I don't go to school, I home school, so I am on Wookieepedia a LOT.:) I would love to be an important part of this website. Thanks,

Userbox Help
Hi, I don't believe we have encountered each other before. I need some help with the userbox container. How do you add more than 12 userboxes in it? I currently have 12 and would like to add two more custom userboxes without removing any of the current ones. I asked Jack and he told me to copy his and replace it with mine, but it was too complicated for me, so I'm asking you for help. Thanks a lot. Chack Jadson 21:10, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Honestly this could be asked in the Senate Hall, however, a better person at this time to ask would be Sentry or even User:Sikon, who have more experience with templates than I. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:16, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- I figured you might recommend one of them. Thanks anyway. Chack Jadson 21:19, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Dealing with dead-end pages
Hey, I've been putting in some work on the list of Administrator's responsibilities, but I'm not sure what needs to be done to dead-end pages. Do I just turn them into redirects? Jwebb13HoloNet40px 23:01, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Request
Hi, I would love to be an adminastrator. I am on here almost two or more hours a day. I would like to have an important job on this wonderful website. I have been a star wars fan for as long as I can remember. literly. I am a second generation star wars fan. My uncle got me hooked on it when I was a youngling. of corse that was a long time ago, but star wars is the #3 thing in my life. 1 and 2 being God and Family. but once again, I would love to be a part of the adminastrarorship of Wookieepedia. Please let me know how I can become an adminastrator. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
- If you truly want to be an administrator, add a request here, but I'm going to tell you now, it will not succeed. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:43, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have a couple of questions first. Is it only the adminastrators who are allowed to vote and request votes? and you said that I could put my request there, but when I went there it said that another user had to nominate me. Which is true? Thanks, Quinlanfan 21:09, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Then someone has to nominate you. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:11, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

RULES
I was wondering what you are going to do about all these personal attacks they are giving me. I feel really insulted! It says in the rule that you are not allowed to talk bad about people or personaly attack them. I would REALLY like to erase all of the stuff that they said about me. What they are doing is clearly against the rules!!!! Quinlanfan 23:41, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Be aware Quinlanfan that you will not always get your way here and please stop whining and moaning about being "insulted" and also get a life of your own other than being hooked to the computer screen. MyNz 11:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Doesn't that apply to all of us? -- SFH 23:52, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Riff, you might want to check out the archive page of the RFA. I removed it to there per Quinlanfan's request. And I might add that some of those were not personal attacks in my opinion. I had no intentions of insulting anyone, just laying out the facts. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:04, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Quinlan. Some of the users might be a little harsh in their judgements, but they are laying down the facts when you fail the requirements for being an admin. I wanted you to read them yourself and think about what you were trying to do. People vote against you because they do not view you as admin material. That is not to say you still can't try to contribute to this wiki as a normal user. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:49, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- What I ment about "Insulting" was the statements that were saying that I was RamblinWreck and the other stuff that they thought about me. That offended me. He is my friend and we live in two different states. also I did not mean the other thing that they were stating facts about as being insults. Just the ugly stuff. For future refferance I do tend to argue a lot. I have always been told that I would have been a good lawyer.
Quinlanfan 16:21, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- You don't need to make it an issue. Can you live with just being a regular user? And please make more than 28 article edits because no admin has that low a number. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:51, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Just an idea
Hey, I just thought of something! Whatt if we had a junior adminastrator, or Vice Adminastrator. Which ever sounds better. They could be younger than 18. They could have some of the powers as the main adminastrators. You know, like the REAL world. Presidents-Beuracrats,Governors-Adminastrators, & Mayor-Jr. Adminastrators. Just give it some thought, savvy?
Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
- Sigh, Quinlanfan or "Grand Admiral Nick Vos"! That would be destroying the whole reason why we have administrators! Also if you want to be an admin, please polish your grammar. This would give people a better impression of you. Also please stop haggling Riffsyphon1024 about wanting to become an admin or a junior admin. Stop making a big issue about being an admin here. Why can't you be content with being a normal user here? Is it because you want to rule the whole wikia and exact your revenge on all those who have criticised and punished you?
You don't need to make it an issue. Can't you just live with just being a regular user? Most of your edits seem to be on talk pages, forums and user talk pages. This is not good for a potential admin or junior admin. Also stop acting like an attention seeker!MyNz 00:11, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hell, I'd like to be nominated as an admin or inquisitor, too, (it's nice to be noticed for doing something you care about) but the point in needing someone else to nominate you is that it should come as a natural extension of the work you've been doing. Just stay busy and enjoy the site, which is probably easier to do without all the extra responsibility, anyway. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 00:28, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Is there such thing as a junior admin? If not then I'll drop it. Quinlanfan 16:39, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Quinlan, drop it now. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- okay. I rest my case.

Greetings, I´ve seen you have Fondurant in your list of planets, maybe this interest you or you can gve us more evidences. Bye. --Palpatine81 16:02, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- The list of planets was compiled from CUSWE itself, so if Bob Vitas spelled it wrong, it's just that. All there needs to be done is the redirection of the article to the correct spelling, already in use. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Cordinents.
It's not a good idea to move the location cordinents into the article because it's sceduled to move to the top of the page, like on Wikipedia. See the Caserta Palace article on Wikipedia to see how it's supose to work. And Template_talk:Coor_title_dms to help fix it on Wookieepedia. --Steinninn 15:31, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

SOTE Wiki
Hey, Me and some other guys are requesting a Star Wars Shadows of the Empire Wiki at wikia.com. We have three supporters so far. It would be nice if you could support us.Here is the page:http://requests.wikia.com/wiki/Starwarssote
Thanks,
Quinlanfan 04:37, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
I asked for support. oh well, nevermind. How come we have a KOTOR wiki? SOTE has more stuff than that. Quinlanfan 22:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- I was not involved in the creation of a KOTOR wiki. Someone else requested it without letting us know. And simply because you asked for my support does not mean that I'll agree on the situation. We cannot start fractionalizing Wookieepedia into smaller wikis, however that being said, wikis like SWFanon and this new merchandise wiki stand in a category all their own, with non-canon info or stuff we cannot cloud up our articles with unless it provides informative information pertaining to the article. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:57, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Costume
Where, (if I may ask) did you acquire it?--Herbsewell 01:54, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- It was built from scratch, minus the helmet and control box, both as the voice changer sold and the prop quality gloves. The chestplate is black plastic from VHS boxes. It is held together with a coat hanger and car mats, all surrounded by black duct tape. The boots were purchased and taped to hide the logo. The cape is a black fabric cut to spec and then binded together with a little chain. I think that covers a majority of it. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:00, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Can you please settle the issue about StaeNeptune warning me for something that Geeky did. Please see my arcives. SuperGeeky had been having an arguement with Herbwell. I only asked him one question. Please look at the following info: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Herbsewell#Game_wiki
I am still waiting for an apology from her. I dont want this to get even bigger. Can you please settle this? Thanks a lot,

Look at my arcive. It is crossed out but you can still read it. She acused me of harassing Herbswell, when geeky was harassing him. I only said one thing to him. She just sent it to the wrong person. I would like an apology from her so this can be ended. Thanks, Quinlanfan 15:09, 1 March 2007 (UTC) http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Quinlanfan/Archive1
can you set up a protection on my talk arcive so people wont change stuff around? thanks, Quinlanfan 15:11, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- She only sent you one message from what I see, and nothing more. Even if you were mistakenly accused, she does not have to apologize as she was doing her job here and you do not have to look for an apology. You are making this more of an issue than it was before. Others have already stated that you have "whined" to admins and "harassed" other users, so it is not simply StarNeptune. Furthermore, it is not recommended you hide messages you don't care for on another archive of your talk page, unless everything for that time frame is hidden, in order for people to backtrack easier, but this is exactly why we have a problem. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:38, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I have not harassed any body! Can you give me a link where I harassed someone? Also, is it against the rules to use the < s > to cross something out? Can you please lock my archive so no one but me can change it? Culator keeps vandalizing it. I thought archives were supposed to be left the way they were when I put them there. Can you please lock it or protect it? I am trying my best to act nice, but people won't stop messing with me. I just want there to be peace. I am not whining. I just want it to stop. Thanks, Quinlanfan 16:29, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
