Tenebrae

  • The latest game update says Tenebrae's a Sith. Do you have specific lines that say he rejected the ways of the Sith and no longer considered himself a Sith? OOM 224 ༼༽talk༼༽ 07:34, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Re: TENEBRAE

  • That link you gave me was from KOTFE. Character identities later in chronology, as is the case for "Echoes of Oblivion," trump any past identities. Even though the Tenebrae in "Echoes of Oblivion" is an imprint, his character identity lived on and operated independent of his body; Tenebrae in "Echoes of Oblivion" is a Sith character, superceding Valkorion being a non-Sith in previous expansions. OOM 224 ༼༽talk༼༽ 07:38, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
    • The last imprint to die was that of the Sith Lord Tenebrae. Since that is the last form of the character's consciousness to die, the defining character identity here is the Sith Lord Tenebrae. This is about the latest character identity in IU chronology, and in the case of Tenebrae, it's his affiliation to the Sith. OOM 224 ༼༽talk༼༽ 12:19, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
    • Please, read the talk page of Tenebrae, I uploaded a topic yesterday. He have no affliation to the sith or the sith empire, his affliation is to himself and be master of the sith is diferent of being a sith, darth maul was "master" of mandalorian but he wasn't mandalorian

~~Ragnarstark7 09:29, 6 April 2021

      • I understand that being master of Sith does not make one Sith, but Tenebrae clearly follows the Sith way of greed; pursuing power for the sake of power. Also, Satele Shan refers to him as the Sith Emperor in the flashpoint. It's clear that Tenebrae died a Sith. OOM 224 ༼༽talk༼༽ 12:59, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
        • Canon Maul (formely darth now just maul) died acting in the sith way (I explain this on the page on Tenebrae's talke page). Maul had abandoned his sith identity but he continued to live in the sith code habit, following his passions, defending the principle of master and apprentice etc. But in this wiki he is not considered sith because he abandoned his sith identity. Jacen Solo / Darth Caedus did not die by the sith code, he did not die seeking power or revenge but rather sacrificing himself for the survival of Alana, guaranteeing the survival of his daughter and a vision of peace, a very Jedi way of dying. But why does vergere and jacen who died as a jedi have sith templates and maul who died in the sith way doesn't? Why Maul abandoned the sith as well as vitiate and the two died despising them "My most failed experiments", "the sith took everything from me". Both have sith characteristics because maul was raised as a sith since he was a child and vitiate was born in the sith empire and governed him for 1300 years but both despised the sith and abandoned their sith identity. And about Satele calling the Tenebrae a sith emperor, this is due to the fact that the sith emperor was not just his title, but his name (in the same way that the warhammer emperor of mankind has that name) and that was the name that he used it longer and that the jedi so familiar with using (the sith came to call him a vitiate because they refused to call him an emperor). Read Tenebrae talk page, please. I've explained much more things overe herr. ~~ Ragnarstark7, 6 April 2021
          • I've read the Tenebrae talk page, and in response to your thoughts, I want to clarify that Maul openly renounced the Sith multiple times. Tenebrae—and I'm referring to the latest impression of Tenebrae that died in Satele's mind—never did; only Valkorion—the living Valkorion in KOTFE—did. That doesn't count because Valkorion was superceded by Tenebrae in Satele's mind; that Tenebrae is the latest apparition of his character. The Tenebrae in "Echoes of Oblivion" is Tenebrae. Since there is nothing that suggests he could have abandoned his affiliation to the Sith, Tenebrae died as a Sith. If you really want to continue this discussion further, I suggest opening a new thread on Forum:Senate Hall to gather opinions from editors across Wookieepedia. OOM 224 ༼༽talk༼༽ 18:15, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Okay, as I know I won't convince you, I'm going to open a topic in the Senate Hall. Although I don't have a lot of free time at the moment but I will do it someday because I think that classifying Tenebrae as a sith goes against the whole development of the character. But only one final answer to his last arguments: Maul he only renounced his sith heritage once, and even then he continued to act as a sith, wanting to seek an apprentice and still seeking power, Tenebrae to be honest he never found himself stuck with sith concepts not even when he founded the Empire, he didn't even have a master! And when he created the sith empire he did not even interfere in it, who defined the government structures was the dark council, and vitiate only interfered when they interfered with his interests. That is why he abandoned the sith empire to found an ideology and people more in his image, The Eternal Empire of Zakuul, his empire. This final argument was just to conclude this debate, thanks for indicating the senate hall, I will soon create the topic there. User:Ragnarstark7 8 April 2021

Head of State vs. Head of government

Hey, Ragnar. Just letting you know that based on information from several canon and Legends sources, the Head of State for the Confederacy is the "head of government," which is why I've reverted your additions to the canon Confederacy page. Furthermore, it has been established in a Clone Wars episode that Dooku, the Head of State, is the leader of the Senate, and is thereby the leader of the government, based on the fact that Collapse of the Republic states that Dooku oversees the entire government. The Congress Leader is just the Senate's second-in-command behind the Head of State, which is why both are placed in the "Head of government" section in the infobox. Rise of the Separatists also furthers this information by stating that he leads the Confederacy with help from his "council of oligarchs". Hope this clears up the confusion.
