Dark Forces Project

Regarding your [[User:QuiGonJinn/Dark Forces Project|Dark Forces Project]], I have all of the audio dramatizations, so if you need any audio files for articles as you're working on them, don't hesitate to ask. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:23, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Waxer

I see you're working on Waxer. I'm working on the sound files for the quotes, but thought I should point out the quote for the Meeting Numa section is incorrect. It should read, "We should do something. I say we take her with us." - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:58, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

  • Hey there QGJ. I have a question for you regarding Waxer's infobox pic. Having just watched the episode again, I notice a few other shots that might work better, ones where his hands aren't held in front of him and he doesn't have that somewhat goofy expression on his face. It's your FA, so your call. If you're interested, I can upload the images I'm talking about at 720p and then ask Culator if he'll get them at Blu-Ray quality. What do you think? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:47, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

Sinker does appear in the Service of the Republic 3. I orginally wanted to take him, but I have no access to the comic. Would you possible take him over ? Or we can co-work on him. --Clone Commander Lee Talk 20:06, September 17, 2009 (UTC)

Denal and the 501st

I'm currently doing some research in preparation for revamping the 501st Legion and would like to clarify Denal's membership of the legion. Did "Duel of the Droids Decoded" explicitly state his membership of it? (As a note: if that's the case, you might want to check your referencing in Denal's infobox; it's currently sourced to the episode, which is not a source at all.) CC7567 (talk) 20:07, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

  • Ah, okay. Thanks for that. Also, off the top of your head, do you remember the exact wording from DotD on Rex and Denal's participation in the Battle of Geonosis? CC7567 (talk) 21:10, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
    • Thanks; I needed to clarify that they served together. CC7567 (talk) 21:24, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Season Two

Well, at least it's finally confirmed. :P Anyway, from what I can tell, the Season Two stuff appears to happen before the mobile game, as he's still a trooper in "Cargo of Doom" (according to the ep guide, at least). I'll leave this up to you to work out; it'll be easier to determine the placement once the episode airs. CC7567 (talk) 16:37, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

  • So he isn't a commander yet? Strange. Also, I heard that Denal possibly dies in Cargo of Doom, but of course, that could be fake/speculation from the CoD clip. We'll wait and see. :) JangFett (Talk) 20:39, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

Denal

QuiGon, I feel that I need to inform you that in its current state, the Denal article is not factually correct. I'm going to avoid posting spoilers here, but I hope you realize that the events at the end of "Cargo of Doom" are not at all what they seem to be. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 22:49, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

  • I can understand why you're not putting in 22 BBY as his date of death yet. But at least put the information on the Devaron mission after the info on the mobile game. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 12:50, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

File:DenalCable-CoD.jpg File:DenalBane1-CoD.jpg File:DenalBane2-CoD.jpg Here are your requested images. There are two of Denal "apprehending" Bane. The first is an earlier frame and is the clearer/sharper of the two images. The second is a little less sharp because Bane is moving, but showing Bane with arms raised showed a little more that Denal was capturing Bane. Take your pick as to which you want to use. I'll get the sound files shortly. :) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:58, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

  • Just briefly looked over your Denal article. You have certainly put a lot of work into it. I would like to suggest, however, that when you "standardize paragraph lengths", that you not forget that a length does not necessarily define how long a paragraph should be. Proper English grammar dictates that paragraphs have a main idea and supportive details. Topic sentences bearing a paragraph's main idea usually begin at the start of the paragraph. The supportive details then follow in compound sentences, combined sentences, and simple sentences, adding a variety of sentence structure to entertain the reader. There is a break (ending one paragraph and beginning another) when there is a change in action or thought in the body of the article. Paragraphs use transitions to move from one idea to another, carrying on where the previous paragraph left off, but still keeping the underlying theme in focus. This is where the paragraph uses a transitional phrase. For a short lesson on transitioning paragraphs, see the following link. http://www.bobbrooke.com/WritersCorner/paragraphtransitions.htmGethralkinHyperwave 13:27, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
    • As you requested, here are the grammatical suggestions:
Mission to Skytop Station"...Nachkt hoped to sell the droid to the Separatist General Grievous. *new paragraph* Infiltrating the station with..." (transitioning from Gha Nacht's reason for going to Skytop to Denal's action there)
Mission to Skytop Station (cont.)"...them to plant charges while he went in search of R2-D2. *new paragraph* Denal and the others soon reached a door that was ray-shielded. Tano instructed R3-S6 to disable the shield, but the droid, who was in fact a Separatist spy, instead stalled them until battle droids arrived. Denal was first to hear them coming and warned his teammates. *move paragraph break from here* Denal suggested hot-wiring the door, but R3's seeming ineptitude blocked it. *to here* The group was outnumbered, yet were able to use EMP grenades to disable the battle droids. At this point, Grievous..." (new paragraph should encapsulate the sabotage of R3 at the door) —GethralkinHyperwave 15:17, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
  • That was all I noticed after looking through it carefully after I got the chance. The rest is very well done. The following are a few grammatical errors involving missing words:
Personality and traits"...Denal was quick to figure out how to use magnetic boots..."
Devaron—"...due to the fact that Cad Bane did not send for reinforcements,..."GethralkinHyperwave 15:19, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
  • I also wanted to point out that Denal's death at the hands of Cad Bane are not mentioned, and that the mission listed after the Devaron section needs to be listed as apocryphal (at least any parts that place Denal as being alive after the his death on the frigate).—GethralkinHyperwave 16:25, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
  • Understood. I have a solution for a fix that will use no speculation either way:
Devaron"...Skywalker and Tano reached the shuttle and witnessed, appearently, a the wounded Denal shooting Bane, supposedly killing him. There was no time to recover the holocron from the his lifeless body that fell to the hanger floor; therefore, after picking up Denal the survivor, the Republic troops escaped from the frigate, right before it exploded.GethralkinHyperwave 17:23, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

Poor Denal and Koho.

Hey man, I'm about to finish Koho. I don't recall the episode that well (Just Koho and Denal scenes), and did both Denal and Koho appear together in two scenes? I remember when: Rex sent them to find Anakin, and then both spotted Bane before their deaths. My CoD iTunes is in poor quality, and I'm also replying on the Ep Guide. :) JangFett (Talk) 16:16, October 11, 2009 (UTC)

  • In the ep guide, it says they both encountered him. I don't think Koho could have escaped; that's interesting. JangFett (Talk) 16:29, October 11, 2009 (UTC)

    • ...Did I remove that? I don't think I intended to. Is it specifically capitalized and stated as "a mission to Skytop Station"? (I need to verify to make sure which way to capitalize it in the article.) Also, I'll try to incorporate the new info for Bane, but I'm extremely hesitant about putting it in the bio when so much else of the game has contradicted the TV series. It's going to require too much fanon to link the two storylines together, so it's probably going to end up in the Bts. Thanks, though. CC7567 (talk) 16:40, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
      • Okay; thanks. CC7567 (talk) 17:23, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
      • Is there anything (relevant to Bane) that happens after he tells Amidala and Fisto of Juma 9? He seems to just mysteriously disappear after that. Also, if you get the chance, could you do a quick check on Bane's Bts for factual correctness? Thanks in advance. CC7567 (talk) 06:59, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

Rianna Saren

I know Rianna Saren was your first GA, so I don't want to edit it without consulting you. A couple items. The image of her beating down the stormtrooper, I'd like to lower that to just below the "Working for the Rebellion" heading for layout reasons, so it's in a more accurate placement for the image. Secondly, the image itself. If you look at this image, it's a great promotional shot of Zeeo. I've got a similar shot of Rianna whooping that stormtrooper, but it's more complete and on a neutral white background. However, it is a bit smaller than the current one cropped from the promotional wallpaper. Do you mind me replacing the image with the more complete, slightly smaller, white background version? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 05:53, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW

Hello everyone, this is CC7567 from WookieeProject The Clone Wars. It is currently six months after the project was started, and the number of individual projects is steadily growing. While I am happy that so many of you are writing for the WookieeProject, the majority of articles there have been sitting there for months. Several users even have ten projects or more at the moment, and I am frankly just disappointed at the level of inactivity that is befalling our articles. I understand that many of you have other obligations, and while I respect that, the responsibility falls to you to judge whether or not you're still capable of writing all of these articles, whether in time or in energy. For this reason, I once again urge you to reconsider your current projects. The criteria should be that you have the unrelenting intent to finish all of your projects within the next month. I myself have had to reconsider my own projects on account of real-life time constraints. I do not want to have to set a limit to the number of projects per user, but if it comes down to that, I will, because I do not want to see the project deteriorate and hope that you do not want to either. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 19:23, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

TCW mobile & Jedi Alliance info

Hey, Qui-Gon. Sorry this took so long, but I found very little new information regarding Waxer and Boil in "Battle for Ryloth." The book takes place throughout the Ryloth trilogy arc. While the new Republic Heroes information is not seen in the book, that Ahsoka helping Waxer situation is not there. But here is something new/different from the "Innocents of Ryloth" episode: instead of Waxer wanting to take Numa, both Waxer and Boil were hesitated at first; however, they took her to Obi-Wan immediately. As for my question, do you still have the TCW mobile game and Jedi Alliance game? I am in need of Ahsoka information. I.e, what did she do in those games, any quotes. Thanks, man. JangFett (Talk) 20:34, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

  • Thank you so much, QGJ. :) And yes, I could probably use a screenshot. Is there a scene where Denal is with Ahsoka? Or possibly Ahsoka talking with the Jedi. JangFett (Talk) 15:48, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Clone of Ysanne Isard

Hi QuiGonJinn, you recently added Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron 35: Mandatory Retirement, Part 4 as a mention of Isard's clone, however searching comic book I wasn't able to find that info, like I wrote befroe in the article entry. Can you please tell me the page her clone is mentioned on? Also I noticed you put The New Essential Guide to Characters as a source for her clone appearance as well. Can you tell me in under what characters entry her clone appeared? Thank you.--Jedi Marty 17:24, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Rex in Republic Heroes

I bet you're sick of me bugging you for Republic Heroes info, so here's the last time I'm probably going to ask. :P Is Rex featured in any other missions besides Skytop Station and the first to Vassek's moon? I can only remember (and find the info) on those two off the top of my head. CC7567 (talk) 00:23, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

  • Sure, no problem. :P The three troopers are all mentioned in the appearances section of their respective episodes and are also given short blurbs, but the only one that may present new info is Denal's: "A veteran clone trooper under Rex's command, Denal finds himself forced to improvise after R3-S6's repeated failures during the Skytop Station mission." Waxer's and Boil's only confirm that they were in the 212th Attack Battalion and that they were sent to search for Separatist units in a Twi'lek village. The Official Episode Guide is the only one I have time to check right now; I'll get back to you on the others soon. However, you might want to ask someone else that's more familiar with the Atlas; it may take me a little while to find the info in that one, since the formatting takes some getting used to. CC7567 (talk) 16:20, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

The info about Teska is as follows: "Kul Teska is a Skakoan rogue scientist and assassin known for his ruthlessness and excessive methods. He is a master of technology with nothing but contempt for Force users. Teska wears a bulky armored suit equipped with a vast array of weapons." The Battle Tips for him: "Kul Teska is a stubborn mercenary. He's as tough as they come but rarely changes his tactics, even across several encounters." (All on page 8.) The rest of that section is basically game mechanics that don't have specific in-universe relevancy. Here's the info that may be of use to you from the actual plot:

  • When he is sucked out of a window on Juma 9 and into space, his suit protects him and he simply "zooms away." (p 69)
  • During his fight with Skywalker and Tano at the Behpour base: "Before Teska can attack, someone steps in and blasts Teska's jet boosters, stranding him on the inner ring of the platform. It's Cad Bane, and he's finally gotten payback for Teska's earlier transgressions." Teska is later "knocked back onto his weapon's firing beam." (This scene was a bit confusing, so I think that clarification will help.) (p 137)

The rest from the Prima Guide is basically just paraphrasing of the storyline. Looking at The New Essential Chronology, it states this on page 154: "Worse, Krennel was in league with a clone of Isard, grown through unknown means years before Grand Admiral Thrawn had activated the Mount Tantiss cloning facility. In exchange for the destruction of her clone and the humiliation of Krennel, Isard agreed to assist Rogue Squadron members in their mission." It goes on to say that "The attack on Krennel's base succeeded. The admiral and the Isard clone both died." All the Atlas says is that Krennel "schemed with a clone of Isard"; she doesn't get another mention. I hope all of that helps; that should satisfy the debt that I've earned with you from all of the DS Republic Heroes stuff. :P CC7567 (talk) 03:18, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

You're definetely one of the best editors on this site. So, congratulations! :) I would've wished you a Merry Christmas, but in Russia, Christmas isn't until sometime in January, correct? I might try to hang out more regularly in 2010, maybe I'll get rollback powers by 2011 or something... My secret little ambition... Rahm Kota in Elite Squadron

Hi QuiGonJinn; I just noticed that you are working on the X2 article using information from the multiple versions of Elite Squadron. I've been working on Rahm Kota for a while, and don't have access to Elite Squadron since its on consoles I don't own. I have a rough outline of the PSP version, but that's it. Is there any chance you can help me by providing me with details of Kota's involvement in the storyline? It would be much appreciated. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 13:07, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Great stuff. My main query would be the timing of the game; I assume Kota's involvement with the Rebels starts off after the events of TFU, and some events are concurrent with the movies, but when does Kota's involvement end? Does he just fall out of the storyline? - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 15:07, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Excellent. I'll use the info from the X2 article, but I may prevail upon you to look over the info and see if I got it correct if that's okay? Also, if I could trouble you for some images: is there one of Kota with X2 at all? And maybe one of him with Falon Grey? There's no rush :) - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 15:30, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Many thanks for the images, and the help. I'll let you know when I'm done so you can give it the once over for accuracy for me :) - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 11:05, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
Interesting info. What happens in the storyline without Kota present in the phone and N-Gage versions? I might be able to access the iPhone version myself, so I can check that one. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 13:47, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry to bother your again, but is there any chance of getting some Kota quotes from the game at all? Thanks in advance. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 21:25, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

I imagine you might be getting a few of these types of messages. Am I missing any information for the Executor from Elite Squadron? Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:55, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Crossing wires

Hey QuiGonJinn; I think we're crossing wires here a little on the battle names in our articles, specifically those to do with Geonosis :P I originally was going to create Infiltration of Geonosis Imperial Base and Liberation of Geonosis Imperial Base, until I saw that Mission to Geonosis (Galactic Civil War) had already been created, and adjusted my links. After that, I had a rethink, and shifted the Mission to Geonosis link to the liberation of the Rebels, but I intend to make "Infiltration of Geonosis Imperial Base" after all since they are technically separate missions. Also, I created a few articles already to deal with redlinks in Kota's article. Feel free to flesh them out; I won't be doing much with them without access to the game :) - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 10:32, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

No problems. I created a few more to kill the redlinks in Kota's article. I won't be doing much to them, tho :P When you get the time, can you look over the parts relating to Elite Squadron and see if they're correct, or if I've missed anything? Thanks. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 12:21, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I've made a slight tweak to change the article to stop the suggestion that he was at Yavin. I'll probably add the Force-sensing as well, since I need to go through the P&T and add the fact that he can fly a ship although blind :P As for the infobox image - it's tricky. Later canon shots aren't necessarily better. The shots of the sighted Kota are of a much higher quality that then blinded ones, since they are promotional stills over in-game screenshots. For this reason, I will be keeping the better quality image. If the Inqs disagree, then we'll have to hash it out, but speaking as one of them, I'd rather have a good, high-quality shot like the one currently in the infobox than a lower quality screenshot. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 13:02, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Nice find! That certainly helps my assertion :) My thanks! - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 21:17, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm .... I'll remove the info for now, but the exact dating may be laid down in Empire at War which I have no access to. Thanks for the heads up. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 09:45, January 20, 2010 (UTC)

Re: NEC

Hmm. As far as I can tell, the closest timeframe I can give you is between "less than two years before the Battle of Yavin" and the Battle of Yavin itself. The 2 years marker is only provided for the Corellian Treaty, and the mention of the Rebels' acquiring of the X-wings comes after that—no mention of the Battle of Fresia, though. Hope that helps, although you might want to check with someone else who is more familiar with the info. CC7567 (talk) 02:28, January 20, 2010 (UTC)

Star Wars: Battle for the Republic

Hey QuiGonJinn; another question for you. Do you have Star Wars: Battle for the Republic? I noticed you started and contributed a lot of information to the article, so I'm hoping you have it as I need info for an article. Specifically, what role does Sha'a Gi play in the game? Thanks in advance. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 00:12, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for that. Nice to have someone around who has access to these games :) - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 12:36, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

The Droid Deception

Hey, QGJ. I see you made a few edits in The Droid Deception article. I was wondering, do you by any chance have this UK comic? If so, I am in need of Ponds information. Thanks. JangFett (Talk) 06:52, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Elite Squadron

You have the Nintendo DS version of Battlefront: Elite Squadron, correct? Could you tell me what role X1's Executor-class Star Dreadnought plays in the version's plot, and if possible, upload a good image of the ship? Thanks in advance. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 00:04, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Congrats

Happy birthday, QuiGonJinn. :) -- 1358 (Talk) 14:23, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Noms

If you don't mind, I'd like to review your three noms. Unlike usual, I am unfamiliar with the subject material for all three, with me being the most familiar with Maw, so bear with me.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 21:08, May 15, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hey man, you did a good job with Maw, I'll finish reviewing the other two soon. Feel free to review my noms, should you choose.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:54, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Maw the Boltrunian

It's been a while, so I'm thinking: Maybe I didn't make myself clear in one of my objections to your FAN, Maw. I feel that the intro should mention that he was known as Maw the Boltrunian, in bold; or alternatively you can tell me you don't think that's a good idea, and we'll discuss it. Elite Squadron

Hi QGJ. I'm need to cover some of the events of Elite Squadron in the Atrivis sector as Desolation Station has now been placed within its borders. Is there any chance you can get me a screenshot of Desolation Station to use in the article? It would also be useful for when I need to describe the appearance of the station. --Eyrezer 00:25, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

  • Thanks! I've added both images to Atrivis sector along with some information on the two asaults that occur there. Quick question though, what happened to the Wookiees and Rebels freed from Desolation Station? Did they get off the station before it was destroyed by the tributart beam?
Actually, would you mind reviewing my update to the Atrivis sector to see whether it is accurate? I have tried to kep it at an overview level. If you have the time, the relevant edits are these ones: edit history --Eyrezer 03:24, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
    • Much appreciated. I removed a small part to reflect your advice. --Eyrezer 21:31, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Waxer and Boil

Would you like me to get you the new info on Waxer and Boil from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia? I'd be happy to do the update if you don't have the time, but if you'd prefer to update it yourself as the nominator of both articles, then that is what should be done. Cheers, CC7567 (talk) 02:29, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

  • Sure, no problem. Hope to see you around. CC7567 (talk) 17:09, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Mysteries of the Sith

Hey, QGJ,

Have you played Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith? If so, is there anything in it with regard to Sith magic? Let me know when you have time, thanks.Tommy 9281 06:35, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

R3-S6 in Republic Heroes DS

Hey, QGJ, I have a question. Is R3-S6 featured in the DS version of Republic Heroes? I checked Denal's bts to see if there's information, but it seems R3 wasn't involved in that storyline. JangFett (Talk) 01:57, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • Thanks again, and welcome back. JangFett (Talk) 20:08, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Query about Neyo

Hey QuiGon, do you own Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. I know that you own Elite Squadron. I'm planning on working on CC-8826, and need to know what role he plays in the games, if any. Any help is appreciated.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:33, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hmm, thanks for your help! Very useful info. Let me know of you need anything.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 17:07, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Battle for Naboo

Hello there, would it be possible for you to verify who was flying what during the mission Disruption of Comm 4? I listed four fighters but there might only be three. Also, do you know if Vedd Deviss and Lutin Hollis joined in the Naboo Space Battle at the end of the game? Thank you so much. Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 14:35, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Marr and Darksaber

Marr, Nichos: A Jedi student of Luke Skywalker, he came to the Jedi academy with his fiancee, the scientist Cray Mingla. When he was struck with the fatal Quannot's syndrome, Mingla transferred Marr's intelligence into a near-human artificial body. He later accompanied Luke Skywalker on a mission to destroy the Eye of Palpatine battle station. Marr volunteered to remain on the station to make sure it was destroyed. Mingla, realizing she couldn't live without Marr, stayed behind, too. Her body then served as a receptacle for the essence of the Jedi woman Callista, who had been trapped within the station's computer core.

Darksaber Project: Code name for the secret weapon that Durga and his Hutt crimelords ordered built using modified and improved plans for the original Death Star's superlaser.

Kael

Heh. How on earth did you get that picture of Kael? Do you have the PC version? I personally own the vaunted Nintendo cartridge. Also, would a picture of his crashed starfighter be possible? Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 16:10, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
