Hello, PresidentDVD, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:

Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

Copy/paste

Hey there, please do not just copy information from one page and paste onto another, as you did with info on Sly Moore from Mas Amedda. You're free to use Amedda's page as a guide as to what to include, but not to just copy it directly from another. Feel free to ask if you need any help! Thank you! Hi there - for the future, when you see articles undergoing the Featured article nomination process, please don't make large-scale changes without contacting the nominator, as you did on Shollan. Copy/paste

Hello! Please refrain from copying and pasting information from one article to another, which you have done several times between Adi Gallia, Onaconda Farr, and Bail Prestor Organa. I also highly recommend using Wookieepedia's source editor rather than the visual editor since the visual editor often creates coding errors by accident. If needed, tutorials such as this one can be found in the Community tab.

Secondly, I have noticed that you have recently focused on making various degrees of edits on articles I specifically have put work into. If you have any comments, questions, complaints, or concerns regarding me, please feel free to reach out on my talk page or via the Wookieepedia discord, I would be glad to discuss any issues you might have. Focusing regularly on rewriting or copying AdmiralThrawn's edits, especially his workbenches, is harassment, especially since he asked you to stop years ago in the message above, yet you have continued. You also been warned previously about copying and pasting in general, which is to be avoided due to the issues of plagarism and the fact that it commonly cause errors. Copying or altering any user's workbench without discussing it with them and asking for permission is also specifically prohibited and impolite, and if any users tell us you've been doing this again it will lead to a block.
