How does one vandalize a nonexistent page?

I recently made a new page. It got erased and my talk page said I needed to not vandalize pages anymore. But, I find this message kind of confusing, because there was nothing there to start with.

Since I don't want to seem the vandal, I request advice on your and other opinion as to what I should make the content of the [[Mudkip]] article have. Once I have your style down to your approval, I will resubmit the Mudkip article. Thankyou!

  • The article does not exist because it was deleted, and it was deleted because it was about Pokémon, not Star Wars. Given that this a Star Wars wiki and not a Pokémon wiki, an article about "the most lieked of countless Pokémon creatures" really has no place here. -- Ozzel 21:38, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

  • I suppose so. But, and this is just my personal opinion, it kind of bugs me that he hides the "User" namespace part... I've just honestly never noticed it until now. Image requests

I have a few image requests for Daye Azur-Jamin, if you don't mind. This, from Star Wars Insider, and this, from Adventure Journal 4, could do with rescans, and if you could also upload the image of Daye in the Bacta Tank in Adventure Journal 6, and the colored image on page 16, the image on page 24, and the image in Daye's RPG bio on page 50, all from AJ 10, it would be greatly appreciated. What?

Why was I blocked? I simply asked you a question! I didnt spoil anything, because the fact that I listed was NOT true! The game producers said its not true.   • You were blocked because you did exactly what I had just warned you not to do: post spoilers without proper warning. As for their accuracy: it's in the novel. There may be different possible paths in the game, but the book says this is what happens. In the future, even if you aren't sure about its accuracy, don't go waving spoilers around like that. If you have a concern, there are ways to ask without spoiling everyone outright, and if you do have to post something, warn people first. -- Ozzel 19:39, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Deleted?

Greetings Ozzel,

I was wondering how come my page got deleted? I know it said that you didn't think it was "real" etc. but it neither said how I could proof it was. You guys should create better warnings, or at least not delete that fast... all I did was edit some links in, to show that it is real. And by the way, I've just spend three hours creating that page, since I'm still learning how to create and edit Wiki pages.

I apologize for being rude, but seems a little unfair when someone has put so such time into learning how to use this site.

Please respond to my mail if possible. (I am not aware if you know it, since being an admin and so on, but I'll write it here just to be sure. Please delete this post after seeing my message, as I'd like to avoid spam and so on.)

I've noticed that User:Revan Acolyte88 has been adding off-topic/irrelevant comments to article talk pages (such as [1], [2], [3], [4] and others), he was informed that talk pages weren't there for those sorts of comments, but he has apparently chose to ignore the message, and has continued to add off-topic/irrelevant comments to talk pages ([5]). I noticed that you have dealt with this user before, so I figured I'd mention this to you. I wouldn't mind at all; restored. And in case it ever comes up in the future, this probably falls under the "Excepting an undeletion of an item with a clear canonical basis" clause of Administrative autonomy, even though canon doesn't really apply to real world things.       • how do we determine if the images are "crappy"? the blocking should be for people who are causing trouble! Not people who are trying to help the site! how are we supposed to know if the quality is "crappy"? I got the images from the clone wars novel! Ah, my apologies for protecting [[:File:Monaco wikia header.jpg]] — I didn't see that you were already on the problem :P I just noticed my reversion of the picture didn't go through, as you must have just did it. Cantina Patron pics?

Yoda scroll image

I realize we are not a wallpaper site. That is not in any way how it was intended. Maybe I should have phrased it as "standard resolution size", but the proportions worked better in both places it is located on the site.   • Some of that legal stuff is over my head... but as I understand it, we don't need to claim it as fair use, because in this case it's released under the Creative Commons license which allows it to be reused freely anyway as long as credit is given. -- Ozzel 04:09, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Request for Assistance.

User: Cjh37 keeps adding Original Research and speculation to the Form VII: Juyo/Vaapad article. He claims that Palptine used Juyo, even though his form has never been identified in canon. He claims that Fightsaber and ROTS identify Palpatine as a Juyo user, even though they don't. Could you do something about this situation? Atarumaster usually deals with the Lightsaber form articles (and has stated on the talk page that palpatine shouldn't be in the article).     • The situation has calmed a bit. Cjh37 has stopped adding his speculation to the article for the time being, and the argument has continued on the article talk page, though he refuses to accept that Palpatine can't be listed as a Juyo practitioner.   4. Net growth over 2008: 180 KB.

I realize that the original goal I set—which was to nominate Luke for GA by the end of 2008—was not accomplished. For one, I didn't know exactly how much stuff there is out there on Luke. Turns out, about half of all continuity. Two, I've been distracted with other, smaller projects, particularly over the past few months. Or at least that you have a pretty big collection of the magazine. :) I'm trying to finish the expansion of the Pacithhip article, but there are a couple of Insider mentions in the source list that I don't have access to.
