Arranda pictures

Nice work with the Arranda pictures! It's about time the two got proper images on their pages :) I noticed you tagged the old Tash picture for deletion, which was of course the right thing to do. Just remember to list the pictures/media you tag for deletion here next time (and to inform the obsolete picture's uploader that you've done so on their talk page).   • I actually did list it on the page, but it got cleared for some reason. (Not sure why since the image wasn't deleted.) And the uploader only has about 20 edits to their name and has been inactive for 3 months. I didn't know if it was really necessary. If so, then I'll be sure to next time. Television productions

I've noticed recently that you have worked on some of the Ewoks and Droids series articles. Yesterday, I created basic pages for all of the episodes. I thought you might be interested in helping me flesh these articles out and organize them in a consistant way.   • I know, but you have to list them there and notify the uploader. I thought that speedy deletion was better for simple duplicates and obsolete images and the like. Should I be using IFD instead? -- Ozzel 05:11, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
    • I don't much care myself...I check the Images for deletion, candidates for speedy deletion, and possible fanon quite regularly so I'll delete it either way...it just seems more professional using ifd...so I figured I should mention it. :P Use whichever you like though. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 05:13, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
      • I figure that if it's anything someone might possibly object to having deleted, it should be put on IFD so they can have a chance to explain it. Add article

How do you add an article? —Unsigned comment by Taybo20 (talk • contribs)

  • There are a few ways. The easiest is probably to just search for the name you want to add. If it doesn't exist, it will say something like "Results 1 - 5 of 5 on this Wikia for: "Torgas". Then just click the redlink. (Any redlink means the article linked to doesn't exist.) That will start the page. After that, be sure you bold the title, and if it is some in-universe subject, make sure you put a source. And if you need to know how the Wiki coding works, check out the source code of some other articles.
Also, be sure you put 4 tildes (~~~~) after your comments to sign your name. Let me know if you have any other questions! -- Ozzel 04:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Jabba clean up

Hi, I'm the one who has been typing the latest Jabba stuff on his page. Look at the History and then you'll belive me. What is it that needs to be cleaned up? Is it the Space Balls segment? Please don't Cut the Art of the Deal segment, I've worked very hard on that last night, along with Shadows of the Empire. Tell me what needs to be cut and i'll make it work.   • Nothing needs to be removed...just fixed up. I already cleaned it up some. You seem to make quite a few spelling and typographical errors. You might trying typing up your stuff in a word processor first and spell-checking there, and then paste it into the article. Now, as for what else needs to be done with Jabba: it's a little picture-heavy. The pictures definitely need to be reorganized. I removed one from ROTJ that was near the beginning of the article; pictures should generally correspond with the text they're placed with. The section headers you added need to be renamed; since that part of the article is in-universe, the headers need to be something other than the title of the book/comic. Anywho, I'll go over it again and see if I can't fix most of it. -- Ozzel 22:02, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Pictures

Hi, I'm new here and see your logged in right now. I was wondering why there are a lot of screenshots on articles. Where do you get them? I've been interested in Jabba the Hutt since I've done my report and want to know how, whoever got those screenshots on his page got'em. Also how did he get those comic panels there? This goes for every article with them in it, though by far, Jabba has a lot more effort ut into his pictures and the emperor article.   • Well, it depends on what kind of software you have. If you have WinDVD, there's a camera button you use to take screenshots. As for comic panels, you need a flatbed scanner. -- Ozzel 21:58, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
