Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Redlinks

Hello. If you come across a page with an excess of redlinks, please do not remove them. Redlinks merely signify articles that still need to be created. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:42, October 5, 2015 (UTC)

  • Again, please stop removing redlinks from articles. Without redlinks, we can't see which articles still need to be created. If you ignore this notice and continue, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:58, October 5, 2015 (UTC)

Formatting

When adding sources to articles, as you are currently doing, Bibliography sections are only given to out-of-universe pages, such as actors and novels. For in-universe pages, Star Wars Insider goes in the Sources list. For more information, please read our Layout Guide. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:19, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

  • We're here to help you, but if you choose to ignore these messages, you will be blocked from editing. Your edits are helpful, but they're not being formatted correctly. Please ask questions if you have them. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:26, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

Please note that this is the correct way to format your edit in an in-universe article. Notice that items are listed in the Sources list by publication date. Please read the Layout Guide, linked for you above, for a complete set of instructions. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:31, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

  • To repeat myself, items are listed in the Sources list according to real-world publication date. To use your edit here, for example, Insider 61 was released in 2002 while New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology was released in 2004. This information is found in those respective articles. Please make sure you are taking the time to list items in proper order. Moreover, I have already shown you the correct template formatting for the Star Wars Insider citation. Please use the code linked for you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:51, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
  • Please take the time to go back and clean up this edit. Since you should have read the Layout Guide by now, you should know that the Bibliography goes before the Notes and references and that source list items are bulleted. You've also been making enough of these edits to know that you need to specify a specific article from that Insider issue. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:19, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
    • When citing Insider articles, make sure to use the {{InsiderCite}} template. It's very simple to use and makes things much faster. For this item, for example, it would be formatted like so: {{InsiderCite|49|Star Wars Bookshelf}}. And you still need to add a bullet to that item. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:49, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
  • Don't list page numbers in Sources or Bibliography lists. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:28, October 9, 2015 (UTC)

Blocked

Dialog-error You have been blocked from contributing for 3 hours. It is abundantly clear that you are not taking the time to follow the advice being given to you regarding proper article formatting. Your edits are very appreciated, but your inability to format them properly is only creating extra work for other editors who have to clean up the mess you are leaving behind. Your three-hour timeout will give you plenty of time to go back and read the messages I have given you on your talk page as well as the link I have given you to our Layout Guide, where you will find all of our rules for proper article formatting. If you have any questions, I recommend coming into our chat room, where I or another editor will be able to help you directly. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:12, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

Expanding people stubs

I'm not sure if I understand your question exactly, but everything you add should be properly attributed using proper sourcing. So you should be citing your claims to that book. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:01, October 9, 2015 (UTC)

Hoverbus: Canon vs. Legends
