Wookieepedian

Hey MyNz. You might like to vote for Wookieepedian of the Month. It's currently tied at 10 votes each for two guys. Go break the deadlock when you have time! --Eyrezer 01:16, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

It's all good

I hold no hard feelings about that whole situation. Star Wars above all else is my motto, it keeps things in place. But yea, hope to see ya at Scourge. Sato Stars 03:52, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Good articles

You might like to have a look at this new category, vote for some of the articles, and nominate others. --Eyrezer 10:13, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

My User page

Thanks for correcting my page. I'm very embarrised, not too much, being I do mess up a lot on edits sometimes, according to everyone who reads my stuff. thanks though. And I'm the one who has started the Xob, Malta, Gardulla's Palace, Gamorrean guard articles, and , heaven help me, added tons of stuff to Jabba the Hutt. Thanks again, I just noticed you edited it....in a good way. --Jabbathehuttgartogg

Thanks - Jabba page

  • Thanks very much. I don't know if my work is done on that blubber belly yet. I have a heap of Jabba comics, books, ect. by my computer, so that helped.I don't think it matches up to Palpatine 's King-sized article. I'm running out of sources though. Would I hold the title of being Wookiepedia's biggest Jabba buff? What was it like before I ever loged in? --Jabbathehuttgartogg DesilijicEmblem-TheOfficialSWFactFile DesilijicEmblem-TheOfficialSWFactFile 03:04, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

List of Hutts

  • Did you see I took out all the red links added the articles behind them? Hope you like it. --Jabbathehuttgartogg DesilijicEmblem-TheOfficialSWFactFile DesilijicEmblem-TheOfficialSWFactFile 04:37, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Good work. Thanks very much for helping us. MyNz 10:14 September 3 2006 (UTC)

Infobox ulyness

At Galactic Empire you said my version was ugly. Do you also think New Republic is ugly? The infoboxes of these two articles look inconsistent to me, and that is what I was trying to resolve. The former has a white image background that is different from the name's and area around it. The later has a transparent image with exactly the same background as the name and area around it. Do you see another way to resolve this? Perhaps transparent images should not be used? IMO they look better, and that is the look I was trying for at the Empire.Unsigned comment by 144.92.32.246 (talk • contribs)

  • Changing the background color of the infobox to 'white' is not a good solution to the problem. If you wish to make the two infoboxes more consistent in appearance, you can create a transparent PNG version of the Imperial emblem.–SentryTalk 09:23, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

What is wrong with 'white' ? Confederate Remnant has a large white image and looks fine IMO. It seems that you are only against having the name text on a white background. I still don't understand why. In the case of the Empire, should the image should just be resized? It is too low-res for "|300px", but it could be edited to extend the white area around it. Is this what you would prefer? What *I* would do to avoid your dislike of a white text background is to put the name text in a seperate row with no top border, and set its background to {{{BG3|{{{BG1}}}}}}. But of course my forte is template code, not image editing (and I especially hate these low res .jpgs)

  • Editing the images to have a larger frame does not fix the problem because those images are used for more than just infoboxes. I will probably be updating most of the logos to transparent PNG files soon, but first I have to start a forum thread to get community approval. If and when I get approval, I will change the way that the infobox colors are formatted. When I redesigned the Battle and War series of infoboxes, I purposely changed the layout so that the lighter 'subheading' color became the matting color for the image rather than the darker 'heading' color. I can just carry that design through to the others so that there is enough contrast for the logos to display properly. THAT should solve all our problems.–SentryTalk 21:21, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

I was not trying to be rude either.

However, I thought I saw factual errors that needed corrected. I did not want to "go on and on", but I want to state that I was not convinced. One problem I have mentally is communication. Looks like I have some form of Asperger's Syndrome. I am just finding that out. Please attempt to bear with me.

As for deleting content from my talk page, I did not see what was there relevant after I had reviewed it. As you can see, User:Darth Oblivion and I have been discussing that. Will (talk -- contribs) 06:40, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Its allright, I forgive you and I too have to admit I also have some Asperger's Syndrome and a twin brother with relatively mild autism. I understand what you feel about errors and inaccuracies in Star Wars though I realise now that it is not worth arguing about. MyNz 08:12, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Incidentally, the main reason I rarely make major changes to non-talk pages in this wiki is my communication problems. I am more comfortable suggesting the changes and letting others work those changes in. If I did it, the effect would probably be clumsy at best. Thanks

I just noticed in my userpage history that you reset it after it was vandalized. I just wanted to say thank you. - Angel Blue 451 23:19, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

IG's

I would like to thank you for your help with the droid revolution pages(all of which I created and was first to contibute to [with the exception of IG-88's Droid Army, which I merely set up]). I would like to invite you to read my extensive(yet well written and very fascinating, as many users would attest) Bio, or "fanfic", it is of course made up, and up until the last few sections, I am Count Dooku 13. It also includes several users in it, and they have their oxn bios that are linked to mine, and for the most part each others. You don't have to do this of course(not that I can blame you), but just when you have time, and perhaps read the others' bios. Remember to sign in on the sign in under the designated section, if you have any questions or comments on my user page or anything else, just put them on my talk page(Sentience Core). Once again thank you, and I apologize for the lenth of this message. Also, I apologize if I sound like I am treating you like a new user or something like that, it is just a habit of mine. Happy editing, as has been said to me on more than one occasion!--IG-Prime(Sentience Core)20px 22:23, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Category Editing(Cyborgs and Droid Species)

For some reason there is nothing where you told me to look. There is nothing under the category links.--ShadowTrooper 01:33, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Uldir Lochett

Hey MyNz, long time, no see. I've just nominated Uldir Lochett to be a Good article. I see that you are the one that has written most of that article—well done! You might like to vote for it on that page. It only needs 5 votes to be a "good article". --Eyrezer 07:02, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

User boxes

How do you place user boxes on your page such as being a supporter of droids or something like that.

--Darth Anonymous 08:51, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Just copy the template. and place it on your user page. MyNz 08:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. Does it matter what boxes you put on?--Darth Anonymous 08:58, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

No, do as you please. MyNz, 08:59 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Weekly article picture

What is the picture on the weekly article "old jedi order"? It looks very odd.--Andy 23:26, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Looks like its the old Jedi order symbol. MyNz 23:48, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, it was something else apart from the symbol. Sorry for the inconvenience.--Andy 02:52, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

FA Reform

  • MyNz, I noticed you wanted more trustworthy users on the Inquisitorius. Who do you recommend? In order to qualify, it would have to be someone who is very active in FA and/or GA, and not just in nominating them, but in objecting and contributing also. The current balance for the Inquisitorius is 4 admins to 3 users. Breathesgelatin and Xwing328 would be members at large- they would only vote on removal of an Inquisitor and would fill in temporarily if one of the members was on vacation.
