Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH 18:31, February 3, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Pictures

If you're having problem uploading images to Wookieepedia, try taking a look at this. If it's going to be a userpage infobox image, then I could recommend the .jpg format. Hope this helps. JangFett (Talk) 13:47, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • Yes, if it's solely for a userpage, then you might also want to look at this policy as it reflects on that. JangFett (Talk) 13:58, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
    • Wherever you like; only if it's suitable and appropriate. You don't want to get in trouble. Anything else, just make sure you upload the image properly (following all rules) and use the correct template listed in the upload page. Also, make sure that you add user-image template within the "Attention" table. JangFett (Talk) 14:10, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Answer:

The Jedi Order emblem? I just went to Jedi Order, and saved the image on my computer. Then I went to set the avatar, browsed my pics and set it as that. --Master Gevallen 13:31, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Userboxes

Here are the last couple of userboxes on my page:

  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  • en
  • user fox

Hope that helps. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:35, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Cleanup

Hey Ludo,

There's plenty around Wookieepedia that could use some cleaning up. What are your interests? I was interested in and familiar with Tales of the Jedi stuff when I first came around, so that's where I started looking for things to clean up. You can also look here for things to do, if that helps. Let me know what you come up with.Tommy 9281 00:30, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Userbox Code

Code? What do you mean code? Please explain, if you don't care. I'm a noob at alot of this stuff.

RE: Editing

Hey Ludo,

Sure, feel free to update anything relating to Dynasty of Evil as you see fit. I'm currently working on Darth Zannah, so I ask that you refrain from making changes there. Look on Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil's page and you'll see a list of pretty much everything that appears in the book in some fashion; that's a good place to start. Let me know if you need any help.Tommy 9281 15:21, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Sourcing

Hi there, I saw your message on Grunny's page and thought I may be able to help you out quicker since I'm online anyway.

To source information using MediaWiki markup, you provide inline references, and then force them to show up later on in the page using a references tag (which there probably already is on the page, though I may be wrong). The following is the code and result of a sample reference:

This is text. This is more text. This is more text.

<references />

This is text.[1] This is more text.[2] This is more text.[1]

  1. 1.0 1.1 This is the Reference text.
  2. This is some more Reference text.

I hope this helps. If you need more help, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page at my home wiki. ~ Michael von Preußen (voicemail)
