RE: Talk pages
I have shown you proof here: Wookieepedia:Mofferences/January 25, 2009; Mofferences are our way of making site decisions. Grunny (Talk) 09:05, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

RE: Upload form
Hi Michael. There are various things that could be conflicting or missing depending on things in the Wiki's JS, but in what way is it not working? I.e. does it change the form to have those individual boxes and then not work when inserting the template, or does it not even change the upload form? Cheers, Grunny (talk) 21:05, April 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Taking a look at your w:c:neukolumbia:MediaWiki:Common.js, you haven't got the form loading. If you take a look at one of the first functions, function loadFunc(), which contains most of the functions including the upload one, "setupUploadForm();", you haven't got that function loading anywhere, so none of the functions within it will be called on. If you go to our MediaWiki:Common.js, you'll see we have $(loadFunc); further down the page which loads all those functions where we want them to. So you can either add the jQuery $(loadFunc); or the normal addOnloadHook( loadFunc ); where you want them to load in order to make those functions be called on. Hope that helps. For the record, I never personally attacked you. I never called you stupid. If I had chosen to call you stupid, I would have said something along the lines of "Michael von Preuben is a stupid, whining moron." But that's not what I said, and we're again presented with the undeniable fact that you have no ability to read and comprehend information, which is the problem at the root of this whole episode. I suggest you actually read our No attacks policy and familiarize yourself with what a personal attack really is before accusing someone of making one against you. And I strongly suggest you stop whining about things that aren't real problems and get over the fact that your poor edit was reverted. Believe you me, you are far from the first person to chafe with the editing policies that govern this wiki because you have no conceivable clue how they work and then start a complaining crusade for vindication because your pride and ego were wounded. The fact of the matter is, you joined this wiki a year and a half ago and, as far as I can see, have been nothing but a problem since. Your very first edit was to revert an administrator, and then you presumed to dictate to him what is and what isn't a proper administrative warning, before removing the message outright. And then on the very day you first registered your username, you were properly disciplined for the garbage you left for him in response. Not even a year later, you got into another tussle with another well-meaning administrator, because you seem to think you know how Wookieepedia operates better than we do. Quite frankly, you should consider yourself extremely fortunate you weren't blocked again for this crap, because I would have done so had I seen it. And here you are again causing drama and issue over something that is your problem to begin with. You've been nothing but a nuisance to this wiki literally since the day you signed up. You have yet to make a worthwhile contribution to Wookieepedia. And in the rare instance you decide to grace us with your presence once every six months, you adeptly find some way to pick a fight with some administrator. So I'm going to tell you this once: You don't know how Wookieepedia functions better than established users who have been working hard to make this the best wiki on the Internet for years. When someone tells you you're doing something the wrong way, odds are it's because you're doing something the wrong way. Take a step back and learn to heed the advice that others give you, because you will do nothing but benefit from it. This is your official administrative warning to stop causing trouble on this wiki. I don't want to see you disappear for another four months only to return and start more problems with someone else, as is your consistent behavioral history. If you do, I will personally see that your time with us comes to a permanent end. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:40, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
Style on the Naboo article
Hi, Michael. To answer your questions about reverts and whatnot, the reason your contributions were reverted on Monarch of Naboo was because they did violate our manual of style. Specifically, our articles adhere to a strict "in-universe" style, where the conceit is that the articles are written as if they were part of the Star Wars universe. Your edits were written from an "out-of-universe" style, which is, of course, the opposite. Such information in our articles can only appear in footnotes and in "Behind the scenes" sections, titled as such. The relevant section of the MoS is WP:MOS#Perspective, which is probably the part you have been called out for not adhering to. I hope this explains things. ~ SavageBob 23:33, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
