Hello, Litfoil, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:

Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

New articles tip

Hey and welcome!

Firstly, I just wanted to say great job on some of those articles you created for production staff, its a great help!

I just wanted to give you a couple tips as I fixed a few of your articles, not sure if you saw.

The first is that all articles should have the top template as the first thing, theres a parameter for real-world articles as well, so its just having {{Top|real}} as the first line.

The second is that the infoboxes should have ALL the parameters, not just the ones that we know about. You can see the full infobox code by clicking the "Source" button at the very bottom of the infobox.
