  • Well, as far as I know, there isn't a Wookieepedia page that tells you how to 'make your page', but there are a few that show you how to do minor things. As you mentioned, you would like to format your user page a bit like mine without 'stealing' it. If you would like to borrow some of my page, then please do. Also I noticed you asked for pointers on how to develop your page. I'm more then happy to help, but I need to know what it is you want.

If you want it like mine, the main things you are going to need to know are:

  • How to make titles (use == ==). In the middle of the equals signs you put what title you want,
  • How to put in/make userboxes,
  • Make friends with other Wookieepedians.

My User Page started out with a list of text. To get it to how I wanted it, I looked at other peoples Userpages by clicking the edit button at the top of their page. I studied some of this and then compared this to the finished product. From here I stared to learn what it was I wanted to know, i.e titles, bullet points, images, audio ect.

So, I don't know if this has been any help or if this has just confused you more. If you need me to explain this more, please say so. Thank you. And remember - anything you need - Just click here. ;-) SecondSight 07:29, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

My G.Section

Hello, Jorrel Fraajic. I have finally added a Guest Section to My Userpage, and I was wondering if you would sign it seeming as you have left messages on My Talkpage. Thanks. SecondSight 13:02, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Congrats!!! I see you have created a great many userboxes. Not only are these amusing but they are worthy of a well done. Keep up the good work, but remember to edit some articles as well ;-) SecondSight 15:55, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Edit problems? No worries

I think the problem was just that both of us were tinkering with the QOTD page at the same time, and I was actually deleting sections to put them into the archive/queue. That sometimes confuses the editor. Now all the +10s are moved, so there shouldn't be any more problems. Enochf 01:54, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

why do you keep changing the dead part? It is uncomfermed that he is dead. There are two parts in the book that give hints that he might have survived. Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet] Republic Emblem

    • Trust me. I have read the book, comic book, and have beaten the game. In the end of the SOTE novel it says the following:"Are we certain he is dead?"-Vader, "I don't see how he could have survived. I watched his skyhook blown to bits."-Emperor. and also a part right before the skyhook is destroyed, one of Xizor's commanders keeps asking him to surrinder but he never answers.

SWmerchandise

Zuirdj will be creating the wiki in a couple of hours or so. G.He(Talk!) 02:02, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

The wiki is now available at w:c:swmerchandise. G.He(Talk!) 04:18, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

I was thinking of making the pages for FA, UOTW etc. at Star Wars Merchandise Wiki. Hmm, this popped into my mind: could I become an admin at Star Wars Merchandise Wiki or will I just be tagging pages with speedy tag? Anyway, I'll be going to Star Wars Merchandise Wiki in order to think of what I can do to the redlinks at Main Page... --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 21:55, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Why, thank you! I just like to contribute to new wikis that are from a topic that's familiar to me. As a collector of Star Wars Merchandise, I can write something about action figures certainly, take photos and stuff like that. --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 22:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Signature

Hi, I LOVE your signature! Would you mind terribly if I used it, but with a differnt picture and all? I think it is great!!! Also, use THAT signature and not the regular one Wookieepedia gives you instead? I know you can type the whole thing out but I don't think you do that, do you? Thank you very much! supergeeky1 07:24, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Shadows of the Empire

  • I take it from one of the above messages by User:Quinlanfan you have read Shadows of the Empire. We'll Quinlanfan and I are trying to get a wiki about the project and after seeing the articles you have done, we would be honored if you could help us out if it gets enough votes. I understand if you don't want the wiki to be made you don't have to vote, but if you would like to help us out, the request is at http://requests.wikia.com/wiki/Starwarssote There are a lot of people that don't like the idea so if you feel the same way, you don't have to! I'm sorry for having to leave a message like this, a lot of users don't take kindly to other users trying to get them to vote on their wikis, we just really need to get help! Again, thanks for the help on the signature! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 09:31, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Merchandise Wiki

Hey, Jorrel. I created the page Star Wars Merchandise Wiki. Check it out and add anything you want to. It was started on February 20th right? Chack Jadson 11:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Hiya Jorrel! It's Jack here. I've haven't been on because my ultra-lame internet service provider lagged horribly and I was unable to use the internet for 24 hours...well, I've uploaded a few PD shots of The Saga Collection action figures to the Star Wars Merchandise Wiki. Just wanted to let you know. --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 11:39, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

  • No problem. I'll fix the date then. I might help out on the Merchandise Wiki occasionally. Chack Jadson 19:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Wookiee-Cast

Very good work...I see you've even transcripted my god awful pronunciations as well. There are a few formatting issues, but I'm sure if they're worked on it can become an easy alternative to listening to me. I made a few tweaks myself, but I'm sure a few, very minor things may have gotten through. Thanks for the help, .... 22:32, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

I must thank you for providing the public with the transcript of the Wookiee-cast, especially for those who, like me, are not allowed to download sound files and stuff. Moving pages

In the future, if you're moving a page (like you were with L8-L9), use the "Move" tab instead of copying and pasting. The "move" tab preserves article histories that aren't preserved when moving things manually. jSarek 05:32, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Definitely bug an admin for that one. We can perform the necessary deletions as part of the move; it only requires something like two extra clicks, and saving the edit histories are worth the two extra clicks. Still, I do wonder . . . with the precedent of other droids (like the R2-series astromech droid and the 3PO-series protocol droid) including more than just the serial numbers, why did you move this droid to just the number? jSarek 05:43, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

What?

He claims that he warned me before.

When I got done typing to JMAS A message came up and said that I had new messages. IT was then that I got the warning. He may had sent it while I was typing. But I did not get the message until AFTER I talked to JMAS. I did not break any rules. He stated that he was on wikipedia and that he had an email. I contacted him through those trying to figure out why he blocked me. I still don't see what I did. I acused JMAS because he was the last one on my page since I saw the pictures last. Quin

  • You've got to look at the timestamp. Also, notice that after you got that message, you should have written back to JMAS apologizing for your last message. You did have ample time between the message's original posting and the subsequent block, IIRC. Also, the email is not considered stalking; however, bringing up a topic from a different wiki on another wiki is. Also, remember that IRC is probably the best first option for contesting a block. And, just for future reference, when pictures are deleted, they are not touched on the userpage: instead, the go to the actual file and delete them. JMAS does not have this powah. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 14:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

They still had no right to delete my pictures or my sub pages. I had Only THREE uploaded pictures from my computer and only ONE page of fannon. I went to the other wikis because I knew if I left a message on there they would get it on here. My computer has trouble getting on IRC and it would not let me get on. I tried to get on there but it was not letting me.Quin

  • As Culator pointed out on his talk page, you did have two fanon userpages, the User:Quinlanfan/ How to make custom figures one and User:Quinlanfan/Avia Darlek. You also had 4 user images: Both of these facts breaks policy, WP:NOT and WP:UIP, and were thus deleted. About the contact on other Wikis, not only did you contact them (breaking policy again) there, but you also contacted two users who may or may not have been the Wookieepedia counterparts (Imperials is NOT Imperialles). I'm sorry, but you definately are in the wrong here. If you had been patient enough to wait for a reply email from Culator (which is allowed), things may have turned out differently. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 18:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

I was typing my message to JMAS while he sent the warning to me. How is how to make figures fannon. I was told by an admin that fannon was like fan fiction. Is it not? I still don't know where you are getting the "Four" pictures uploaded from my pc from? Quin

  • Is the "Custom Figures" thing canon? No. Therefore, it's fanon. Fanon includes everything not-canon, from fan fics to fan vids to this. And the four, sorry, five images were File:Swec20-Leia.jpeg.psd.jpg, File:Avia.jpg, File:WE_ARE_GEORGIA_TECH.jpg, File:741px-Anakin2sabers.jpeg.psd.jpg, and File:Ateam.jpg. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 18:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

the georgia tech was NOT on my page. The ateam was uploaded for a userbox so anyone could use it.

  • However, you cannot have the A-team logo on a custom userbox and keep it as a fourth! I mean, the only way you can have that image is if it went through WP:UP and was made a template. You did not (the fact it wouldn't have passed is irrelevent), so it counts as a userimage. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 18:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

On a related note

  • Assuming Quinlanfan isn't blocked from the merchandise wiki, is his custom figures page on-topic for that wiki? If so, I could view the deleted file and transfer it over there for him. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:14, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Regarding Corpsey

I'm curious...regarding grammar, does Wookieepedia default to the std English rules of "his" pronouns for neutral genders or not? I agree with you, btw...I'm just curious. That is, unless you happen to know the gender of the Ewok in question, and it makes no difference. --School of Thrawn 101 07:34, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, that was my question really...the standard for the English language is that one would assume the masculine for an unknown. Appreciate the response and hope to hear back. Thanks! --School of Thrawn 101 07:38, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

If you're talking about the Lecter crack, sometimes the utter foolishness of my fellow humans makes me want to eat them, just so they can at least contribute handy protein to the planet, as they obviously aren't helping out in any other way. ;) Jwebb13HoloNet30px 00:25, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Don't sweat it. Normally, when I drive people to criticize me, it reaches the point of profanity, so even if you had meant me, the politeness angle would've kept me from being bothered. Or probably from even noticing that you had a complaint. Jwebb13HoloNet30px 00:29, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
    • I've always found one of the greatest benefits of high intelligence to be the ability to understand when you are and aren't being insulted, especially about your intelligence. Being called stupid by some f'ing moron who can't even spell the word "stupid" properly is always amusing; I can't imagine being offended if Forrest Gump called me an idiot. • The manual is actually very helpful. Trial and error works well for your initial jaunts into mission creation. It's sometimes useful, also, to open the original TG missions and see what they did (although some of that stuff is sloppy and confusing). It might actually be more instructive to find fan-made missions online; some should still be available.
