Welcome, JediMasterSam!Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 15:28, July 28, 2015 (UTC) |
Speculation/unverified info
Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Trip391 (talk) 17:28, August 5, 2015 (UTC)
- Again, do not speculate in articles. If a source doesn't specifically say something, it doesn't belong in an article. Trip391 (talk) 19:23, August 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Yet again you need to stop speculating in articles, and adding prose and other non-encyclopedic content. Also, do not write things that go against the source, again, as that is considered fanon, and is not allowed. Trip391 (talk) 22:22, August 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Consider this a formal administrative warning. You continue to treat our articles as though they are a creative-writing class, adding speculation and non-encyclopedic content; continuing to add unverified information will result in a block from editing. Thank you. Cade

CT-7567
Hello. As CT-7567/Legends is a Featured Article, I've undone your recent addition. All additions to FAs must be sourced, and the sentence you modified is sourced to The Deserter. Your addition cannot be sourced to that episode so it would require a separate source. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 14:38, February 6, 2016 (UTC)
Yoda's lightsaber
One of your recent edits once again added content with speculative tone to a mainspace article. You've already been warned and blocked for this, so I'd advise you heed the warnings or you'll find yourself blocked again. Thank you. 1358 (Talk) 21:05, February 14, 2016 (UTC)
BBY/ABY
Hey. To answer your question here, BBY/ABY isn't canon anymore because the Galactic Standard Calendar is no longer canon. That's strictly Legends. There is currently no canonical universal calendar system. If there is in the future, it's doubtful it will be based around the Battle of Yavin. Pablo Hidalgo of the Lucasfilm Story Group has recently said that it doesn't make sense to base the calendar system around Yavin, because it's not the most important battle of the Galactic Civil War to the Alliance/New Republic. Arguably a calendar system would be better based around the Battle of Endor, the formation of the New Republic, or the end of the Galactic Civil War. Pablo also said that BBY/ABY was just a way to try to base everything around Episode IV, despite that not making the most sense in-universe.
I hope that answers your question! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:35, February 14, 2016 (UTC)
Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for two months for adding unverified information to articles after being warned multiple times. Wookieepedia articles are not a place for your speculation. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. 1358 (Talk) 18:43, February 16, 2016 (UTC)
Unverified information, again
Hello. At least one of your recent edits added unverified information to a Wookieepedia article. This is, as you should know, not acceptable on Wookieepedia. Seeing as you've been blocked twice for adding unverified info to articles, you might find yourself blocked for a very long time unless you heed these warnings. Before you make further edits, please read Wookieepedia:Attribution. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 22:22, September 3, 2017 (UTC)
Sourcing info
Hey, you may have noticed that I've reverted some of your edits, this is because you haven't included a source to say where that information comes from. Please remember to source all your additions thanks --Lewisr (talk) 22:35, September 22, 2017 (UTC)
- No worries, I always struggled with how to source as well but now I understand how to and hopefully you'll be able to as well. Here is a link to where it explains how to source, I hope that it is of some help to you, if you still aren't certain then what you said might work --Lewisr (talk) 23:35, September 22, 2017 (UTC)
Sourcing
Hello, and thank you for your contributions. However, on change you recently made, you did not add any sources to verify the information. If you need to, please look at Wookieepedia's sourcing guidelines, or feel free to ask. Now I haven't gotten a chance to read the guide yet either, but I will soon, and until then I ask if I can't do it myself. Thank you once again. Banana32

Verification
Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. You have been warned about this before, so please pay attention to this or else you will be blocked again. Tommy Macaroni 16:08, April 13, 2018 (UTC)
- Please consider this your final warning before you are blocked from editing again. You have been told on multiple occasions, with instructions and links on how to do so, that you need to source all information added here. Don't let it come to that. Tommy

Formatting
Hey! Please be aware that references begin with or for example --Lewisr (talk) 20:42, October 16, 2020 (UTC)
- Right. I love Star Wars so accidentally butchering it is frustrating and offensive. I shall endeavour to ensure references are correctly formatted. -- User:JediMasterSam, 22:16, October 16, 2020 (GMT)

Linking
Hi there, nice job on updating Dathomir. In the future though, be sure to pay more attention to linking. A subject should have their page linked to upon their first mention within the intro, then once again on the first mention in the article body. You can read more about it here. Also, there's no need to add commands like <br /> in mainspace articles. Otherwise, nice job! RattsT (talk) 23:21, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Ach! Knew I forgot something. This new wiki setup thing is a bit confusing. Sorry about that. User:JediMasterSam, 23:51, 29 November 2020 (GMT)
NPOV violation
- Hello. Your recent edit to Coronet violates the NPOV policy. The use of adjectives such as "huge," "richly decorated," and "large" are purely subjective and should be removed as such information cannot be sourced to the episode. Please pay more attention to Wookieepedia's policies, thank you. - - -OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 21:24, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
