Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. Emperor's Citadel

Even though Palpatine was emperor, and the citadel was his, canonical sources refer to it as "Emperor's Citadel" not "Palpatine's Citadel". As such, that is what we have to refer to it as well, because we do not determine matters of canon. Trip391 (talk) 06:40, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

  • Also, if you don't have a verifiable source that explicitly states something, do not add it, or try to change its name. That can be considered fanon, and is not allowed on Wookieepedia. Trip391 (talk) 06:55, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

User warning: Fanon.

Please do not add your own fan-fiction to Wookieepedia articles.

If you continue to add fanon to the site, you will be banned.

Your input might be more welcome at the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.

  • Per above. We do not get to make up our own canon. Trip391 (talk) 07:13, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

Jaina

Please stop whatever it is you're trying to do. I'm not quite sure what you think removing all of the dashes accomplishes, or why you're not seeing this, but continuing to do so will result in a block. Also, gods is a perfectly acceptable term to use. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 04:08, December 25, 2014 (UTC)

  • Stop. Why are you doing this? There is no reason nor need to remove any of those dashes. That's not "code cleanup". Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 04:21, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
    • Do you really not see that you're removing the dashes from pages? What were you trying to accomplish with those edits? Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 04:29, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
      • It's tantamount to vandalism, and you will be blocked if you continue to do so. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 05:02, December 25, 2014 (UTC)

User warning: Three-Revert Rule.

You have come close to violating, or have already violated, the Three-Revert Rule.

If you continue to edit-war, an administrator will block you from editing.

Please reconsider your approach, and pay attention to the advice others provide.

This is your last warning. You're already off to a bad start with the dash thing, and your recent edits aren't helping. Your "grammar" changes are incorrect, and there is nothing wrong with the term "god"—in fact, it's incorrect to change it to deity in many cases when that's the term used in the source. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 05:02, December 25, 2014 (UTC)

"Worldview" vs. "galaxyview"

While it may seem odd to use "worldview" when Star Wars takes place in a galaxy far far away, that is the term that author used in the books to describe how characters view their surroundings. Many definitions of worldview also state that is is the way people perceive the universe around them them, and don't confine the word to simply Earth/world. "Galaxyview" may seem to make sense, but it is not an actual word, and not what the authors of Star Wars literature have decided to use, so we cannot use it here either. Trip391 (talk) 06:13, March 20, 2015 (UTC)

  • Again, worldview is perfectly fine, and in many cases makes more sense than viewpoint. You've already been warned for disregarding source material and edit warring before. Trip391 (talk) 06:22, March 20, 2015 (UTC)
    • I never said viewpoint was good to use (see above). Worldview is what should be used, as that is what is used in the source material. And again, when worldview is used and not viewpoint, it is because many times it is more grammatically correct to use worldview than to use viewpoint, and flows much better. Moving things

Stop. Now. Before you do any more damage. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 02:38, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

  • OK, you clearly don't listen very well. So now you have a month to read up on Wookieepedia policy. I suggest you start with the naming policy and the manual of style, which don't support your position on apostrophes, and instructions on how to create redirects, which you were doing exactly wrong. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:39, April 11, 2015 (UTC)
