Ki-Adi-Mundi

Hey Jang. You had previously expressed some interest in my Ki-Adi-Mundi expansion. I still have to do a readthrough copy edit and some minor housekeeping stuff like fixing redlinks, adding some images, etc. But for the most part, I'm done with the expansion and soon plan to nominate it for FA. I was wondering your opinion about something, since this is the most extensive FA I've ever attempted: do you think I should solicit opinions from other Wookieepedians about whether the article is ready for FA before I bring it over to the FAN? Or should I just bring it over there and work out any minor problems as they come up there? Let me know. Thanks! — Hunter Kahn 04:34, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the advice, I will check into those sources. — Hunter Kahn 16:29, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

Re: UK Comic

To be honest, I don't have it, but I'm checking Titan Magazine's website, which has records of each issue. I'm admittedly doing a little assumption about what's being mentioned in the episode guides, but I can't think of any reason not to add them when they can be removed later if that's deemed proper (if ever). :P CC7567 (talk) 05:57, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'm mainly using them to find more sources for Rex, since the reprints of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars comic series count as sources. CC7567 (talk) 05:57, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
    • The website's down for me too, but I'm using Google Cache to retrieve the pages. :P And yeah, there unfortunately is a lot of material in these magazines, but it has to get into the articles somehow. CC7567 (talk) 06:04, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
      • Actually, in terms of finding the issues in which Ahsoka is mentioned, that's easy—all of them. :P CC7567 (talk) 06:05, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
        • Let me know if you do; I could use them too. :P CC7567 (talk) 06:14, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Lola Sayu nom

I finally got around to addressing all your issues. DjMack 20:53, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Re:21 BBY

Hey, Jang. I have no objections to TCW events being sourced to 21 BBY. It would be great, though, if such edits were sourced accordingly. :/ Imperators II(Talk) 19:59, October 1, 2011 (UTC)

  • Understood. But is the name of the article Battle of Mon Cala correct? Or should "battle" be spelled with a lower-case "a"? Imperators II(Talk) 18:18, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
    • You mean the "Battles" section, right? :P But shouldn't the name of the article be "Second battle [..]"? I looked through Naming policy, but I only found the rule "Do not capitalize second and subsequent words unless the title is a proper noun (such as a name) or is otherwise always capitalized [..].". So if it should be "Second battle" in the article, why shouldn't it be the same in the article's name? Imperators II(Talk) 18:33, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
      • Well, it's only about consistency... :/ Anyways, thanks for the explanation! :) Imperators II(Talk) 19:13, October 4, 2011 (UTC)

Cut Lawquane

File:CutLawquaneHS-SWE.jpg|right|thumb|100px I know you tend to prefer non-promotional shots for infoboxes, but I've got a head/torso shot of him from the Encyclopedia that is much higher quality than the screenshot currently being used, if you're interested. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 23:26, October 1, 2011 (UTC)

  • I can go even tighter on the crop too, if preferred. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 23:54, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
    • Since it's not going in the infobox, then we might as well use the full, un-cropped version. ;) - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 00:14, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

Re:LEGO Star Wars

Hey Jang, we compared LEGO Star Wars I and II to the movies, so why can't we campare LEGO Star Wars III to the TV show? Maybe the reason why you reverted my edits was because I put alot of blank headers? Well my Geonosian Arena header had comparisons, so could we please compare the game? Re: Episodes

Yep. Looks like they might be doing a direct adaptation of Slaves of the Republic, just with the series' new character models, and Phase II. I read somewhere that Henry Gilroy (who wrote the Slaves arc) is also the one who wrote this story arc for Season Four. CC7567 (talk) 19:46, October 15, 2011 (UTC)

Dogma (clone trooper)

That "Voicing an Army" video was posted on Star Wars.com, and I recreated Dogma (clone trooper)|the page with the source properly posted (just about). I do hope it's valid enough. Bane7670 02:21, October 20, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Captain

Good call on adjusting the image placement. I think the generic Imperial Army captain image is much better suited as the main article image and was considering making that change myself. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 06:07, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Rish Loo Bts

Please refer to the decision on September 12, 2011 of the Wookieepedia:Policy and consensus updates: CT: Forum:CT:Behind the scenes sections – Option 2 adopted for BTS sections: "Obvious real-life correlations and similarities are allowed, as long as no un-sourced direct connection is stated." Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:20, September 12, 2011 (UTC) GethralkinHyperwave 04:25, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • The difference would be if I wrote that the episode was based on The Three Musketeers, or that the characters are based on Dumas' characters, which I do not (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:CT_Archive/Behind_the_scenes_sections). GethralkinHyperwave 04:41, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Fordo

Hey Jang. Just noticed that you're taking a shot at bringing Fordo up to current FA standard. You've probably already thought of this, but I thought I'd run these by you since you've already threw up the "In use" tag:

  • Fordo's quote about "The Jedi have the left" during the Battle of Coruscant (I know you know the one) would probably be a really good choice for his "Personality and traits" section, with some note as to how he placed faith in the prowess of the Jedi or something.
  • You noted in the BTS section that Fordo's rank is all over the place. True, but the Guide to the GAR helps with that a little more than you have down there already, since the commander issue is retconned to be that he was "Task Force Commander", not a rank, but a title for the mission on Muunilist in conjunction with his established rank of Captain. Bella'Mia 03:49, October 25, 2011 (UTC)
    • No, no, I understand that what's already in the BTS should definitely stay. I was just mentioning that bit about his Task Force Commander title so that you can tack that on in explaining the discrepancy. Sorry if I phrased that weird. Bella'Mia 04:41, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

Fives and the gang

right|thumb|100px Just a heads up, that Fives now has an entry in the Encyclopedia. And for your editing pleasure, they had a great shot of him in his full ARC trooper armor. ;) - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 18:51, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

  • Oh, and Jesse, Hardcase and Kix, are confirmed as they have entries too. I've got images of all of them cropped and ready to upload. Just give me the word. As a ps, I'm having some issues with my sound editing stuff, so I'm still working on those audio files for Fordo. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 18:54, October 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • 1. You don't have the {{Inuse}} tag on the article, it's the {{Wip}} tag on there, and that is different. :p That tag doesn't say not to make edits, it says not to make minor edits. And I didn't consider mine to be minor. My big problem is that you've got that tag monopolizing Fives, Jesse, Kix and Hardcase - excluding others from being able to edit the Wook, which goes against the whole point of this site, IMO. I'm seriously considering started a CT to limit the number of WIP or Inuse tags a single user can have in play at a given time. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 04:21, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Fives

Even though I don't agree with the way Mauser handled the issue, I tend to agree with him—only because if "ARC-5555" is treated as canon (which, it appears, is what you're moving toward) instead of an obvious blunder like CT-7567, then if Fives were to die in the next episode, he would die as ARC-5555, not CT-27-5555, per #2 of the "General rules" under WP:NP. The only other example of an "ARC" designation that I can find is ARC-77 (and clones can apparently have more than one designation), but it's up to you. In any case, in the extreme case that ARC-5555 is treated as an error, then it should only get mentioned in the Bts instead of being bolded as an alternate name in the intro. CC7567 (talk) 03:51, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

  • Erm...Jang, I really don't believe it's prudent to list Jesse's homeworld and height as they currently are. Not to be blunt, but we're smart enough to draw the line when even official sources list errors. CC7567 (talk) 04:05, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
    • I honestly cannot find him anywhere. We do know that he eventually appears because he's seen in one of the pre-season trailers, but it doesn't appear like he's in "Darkness on Umbara." I would just assume for now that he doesn't and only update it with info from the episode guide, since that mentions him. I'll let you know if I ever do spot him. CC7567 (talk) 05:10, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
      • 13:12: Kix is the one who says to Rex, "Sir, we've been keeping this pace for twelve hours now. The men are getting worn down." CC7567 (talk) 02:31, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
        • As another FYI, the Encyclopedia has now corrected the Homeworld/Height screwup for Jesse, so that note in the Bts section could be removed, or expanded to say "it used to state this, but has since been corrected." Blah blah. ;) - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 04:10, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Heads-up

Hey Jang, I saw that an anon edited File:HardcaseExaminesRex.jpg, saying it was Hardcase overlooking Rex. The anon seems to be correct, based on the stripes on the head of the clone—Kix appears to have blond stripes whereas Hardcase only has a dark strip (a scar?)... like in the image in question. Could you take a look at it, and if correct, adjust the article(s) and have an admin move the image? Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 13:56, November 7, 2011 (UTC)

Oz and Ringo

  • Hi, Jang. As you "own" many of those Umbara clones are you able to identify those two who state that Ringo and Oz are down? Would be very helpful for my lead quote in their articles. Thanks Clone Commander Lee Talk 15:14, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks. If you find out anything about this case, please let me know. Clone Commander Lee Talk 13:34, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Appo

Sure thing. I'm rather peeved that it was never included before the article went to FA status, but better late than never, I guess. CC7567 (talk) 04:27, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

Hardcase

Sorry for my edit on Hardcase, I accidently overlooked the inuse tag. Well, at least you won't have to update him further:P. I'm happy that Crys is not in the story arc. Clone Commander Lee Talk 11:01, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

  • Let me know if you'd like the full body/armor shot of Hardcase from the Encyclopedia. I've got it all cropped and ready to upload, and it would work well in the P&T/A&E section. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 04:04, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Clone commando CANs

  • I agree with you that is not neccessary to mention very simple facts like gender, species and height in such a short article, but AFAIK the nomination rules require it. So if you don't find a way to avoid the rules, I have to bring the info in or other users object that I should have it there. I hope you can see my POV as I do not want a lenghty discussion about this facts. Also, forgive me that I used your talk page to reply, but I did not know how to place all this info on the CAN page or at each clone commando nomination. Thanks for your time. Clone Commander Lee Talk 15:44, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
  • I removed the species and gender information and splitted the sentences about his death/mourning. However, I'm not sure if I undestand you correctly. Do you want that I create a P&T section simply for his height? I do not want to add this to all articles and then remove it just because I misunderstood you. Clone Commander Lee Talk 18:35, November 14, 2011 (UTC)

Cleanup "Carnage of Krell"

Hey, I've been trying to do some cleanup work and expansion on the S4E10 ("Carnage of Krell") page. I noticed after my edits you marked the page as being in need of cleanup. I'm just curious to know if I'm doing something wrong? I am a newbie to this site (but not to editing/writing) and I'd like to make useful contributions.

If I'm doing something I shouldn't please let me know before I expend too much effort. Thanks!--Sachariah 23:45, December 3, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Jang, I was just wondering if there was a problem with the wiki at the moment or whether it is just my laptop/internet connection, because I cant go to article talk pages for some reason. --DK Wolf 27 20px| Commlink 16:26, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

Speculation

Hey, Jang. About that edit you made on the court-martial article... You mentioned speculation in your edit summary, and I was curious as to what you were referring. The statement of Fives being an ARC, and Jesse being a member of the 501st are both confirmed fact. Pong Krell was in fact a rogue general, by definition of betraying his command, and that seemed like a logical link to Dark Jedi as his current infobox on the site also acknowledges that. Just interested to hear your thoughts. Get back to me whenever you can. :) Bella'Mia 04:24, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

  • Hey Jang—as far as Krell is concerned, if you won't allow him to have the Dark Jedi infobox (which would be appropriate, considering "Dark Jedi" has always been considered a catch-all term for a Jedi who renounces the Order and embraces the dark side...) then he needs to have the generic character infobox. He explicitly states in "Carnage" that he no longer considers himself to be part of the Order, so the Jedi infobox is inappropriate. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 05:11, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
    • Of course it doesn't. When has the encyclopedia ever been helpful :P Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 05:19, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
  • Okay, so it wasn't so much speculation as mislinking? Thanks for getting me all confused. lol Anyway, understood. Just trying to go with what I assumed to be the precedent for Krell based on his article. Bella'Mia 05:52, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Magazine 9

Nope; at least no new info that's mentioned in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic UK 6.27, which basically just listed their names among the clones to spot in the Umbara episodes. CC7567 (talk) 07:52, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Appearances

I was wondering why you deleted the "Appearances" section on Tyionsis Cex. I was under the impression that a visual depiction (the artwork used in the article) counted as an "appearance", per the Wookieepedia:Layout Guide, as it states "...even the smallest mentions in dialogue, narration, or visual appearance". Is this incorrect? --Matthias777 23:31, December 13, 2011 (UTC)

Moogans in TCW: Slaves of the Republic

Hey Jang. Grunny mentioned that you knew about the Moogans that appeared in the Zygerrian episode for Season Four, and that is what is threatening to remove GA status from the Moogan article. What specifically should be noted from that appearance(s)? Thanks much. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:46, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Pieces

I finally got some Internet time, so I checked and didn't see anything from H2H listed in the contribs, so I assume that they had since been dealt with. That, and I don't have my book with me at the moment. From H2H, only one special move was actually explained, and that was 4-LOM's sonic blast. However, I'd sooner put that in his article, rather than make a separate article. Which I should go and do just when I have access to my book again. Trak Nar Ramble on 23:06, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

House of Palpatine

I had a feeling you'd do that, but how was that "unverified info"? Those characters are blood related to Palpatine, which would make them members of his family. If anything, Imperial family and House of Palpatine should be merged since they cover the same topic. JRT2010 05:04, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

  • Volpau was just a distant cousin of Palpatine, so I see how your reason can apply to him. For all we know, he could be Palpatine's maternal cousin after all. But Triclops was said to be Palpatine's illegitimate son, which makes him and his own son, Ken, members of Palpatine's family by "blood." If we do not include at least Triclops and Ken in this family as the son and grandson of Palpatine, respectively, then exactly why are they listed as such on the Imperial family's article? JRT2010 05:52, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

Appo

Hello JangFett, as you are working on CC-1119, I believe there could be an identity discrepancy regarding who said the lines attributed to the "clone sergeant" from RotS. Although the Comic-Con poster appears to say it was Appo, I think that Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic might state that it was in fact Sergeant Fox. I am not sure, but please check. Hey dude , not cool. Why did my psychopathy article get deleted. I worked really hard on that article, and theirs plenty of background info to back it up. Help

hello Jangfett, new here, I was trying to contribute the site by updating the page about Meetra Surik. I noticed that You' ve just update her page but I think there's more to add. As you seem to be used to that stuff, maybe you could help out. Her biography stops after it is said she became a spirit, protecting Revan for all these years but with The Old Republic released, new elements can be brought to the page. She's the one who contacted Master Oteg who later sent a team to free Revan .After being returned to freedom, Revan is explained by Meetra the current situation and then disappears, maybe become one with the force. Revan then revealed to the player that the "woman who sent them" was someone remembered by the name of "The Exile". The source are two videos on Youtube named "Revan maelstrom part 1 and 2".—Unsigned comment by Damienpato1987 (talk • contribs)

  • Thanks for answering, It's just a little update i wanted to add, as The Old Republic was released a few weeks ago, i found it was a pity to see Revan's page updated but not hers. Even if it's just a few lines but at least it completes her story. I tried to use the talk page but when I get there, I can't edit anything or suggest anything,it's a grey screen. that's why i contacted someone who previously updated the page. --Damienpato1987 17:58, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

Hey JangFett? Could you please help me decide whether it is safe to assume that this ship is a Providence-class carrier/destroyer based on its appearance or would that be speculation? Hey Jang, I just wanted to draw your attention to the note I left on Tommy's talk page regarding TOR reference notes (here, precisely). If you have a way of getting the name of the mission or the location where the information on Darth Ikoral is found in-game, please add it with the {{TORCite}} template. I noticed you placed a "mess" banner on the article for Ric Olié, but left no comments as to specifics... Since I just spent the last hour editing the entire page for grammar and choppy sentences, would you please let me know what specifically you find to be "messy?" I'm curious, because found the article to be in bad shape before, and I'd like to know how to get this one back in the spotlight page, since I've just invested a great amount of time fixing it up. I'm honestly not trying to be sarcastic, though I fear through text this may sound that way... I'd really like to know what you think would make the article better.—Unsigned comment by Cheesetater (talk • contribs)

  • If you'll take a moment to note the edit history, before you reverted the caption edit, you'll notice that I just completed an extensive edit of the article, which is why I'm curious as to your reasoning for the tag. I just spent an hour using my Master's degree in English to re-write the prose into proper grammar. I'd like to know your specific reasons for feeling that more editing is required, or I'd like to request that you please remove the tag, as it actually makes the article look messier than it must.—Unsigned comment by Cheesetater (talk • contribs)

Hi Jang I noticed you removed the reference list on two articles I recently created. Comet

I know that I am not supposed to post Gan objective comments on your talkpage, but I think I have a rather major question about Comet. Since Comet wears Devil Dogs armor during the Khorm assalt, that would technically make him part of the 44th Special Operations Division. Also, Wolfpack was down to 3 troopers during that battle due to the previous battle of Abregado, meaning Comet could not have been part of Wolfpack. However, we later see Comet as part of Wolfpack in TCW. Does this mean Comet changes companies to be in the 104th after the battle due to Wolffe's neede for more clone troopers in Wolfpack? Can I change the article to say this or would that be speculation becasue no source I know supports this? Thanks for putting up with my less than stellar nomination. 501st Dogma10px(Comlink) 01:04, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Well, will all due respect, I feel that I was just highlighting the major events. I realize that it may seem inccorect to remove source information, but a lot of the information in the article, sourced or unsourced did not add to the article. Just because you haven't seen it, it doesn't mean it didn't air. if it is confirmed that it airs on 9th, than it aired today. So the main point is that it AIRED. Re: Unverified Information

Hi, I saw your message. When you say I added unverified information, I'm assuming you mean the stuff I added to the Karis and Naa'leth articles, correct? Both were referred to by Talzin in Nightsisters as the "greatest warriors of our coven", and Naa'leth was present on Serenno along with Talzin and Talia in Monster. So why exactly were those edits reverted? If it all comes down to sourcing, why were those two particular edits reverted while there's still boatloads of edits out there without citations attached? Thanks.--The Shadow Emperor 18:05, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

Hello JangFett, I see that your GA Dyer is listed as being pictured only in BTM. Does that mean his line "Freeze!" is not included in the script? Savage

Hi! About Savage Opress, that {{Wip}} template has been there for ages, I noticed it even back in 2011. For me it means it is not in progress, if it was in progress, it won't be there for more than a couple of days. Otherwise, the title of Wikia is an Encyclopedia that anyone can edit. It is not possible to block an article so only one user can edit it. If he does not work on it, than others may do so. Otherwise, I only made minor edits, I did not edit main sections, and I did not add a lot of information. I don't understand how can this causae conflicts. Please do not block pages from editing if they are not edited. Thank you. --XXLVenom998 13:38, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • As I told you, the template has been there for ages. It is not possible to block a page from editing for other users for months. Otherwise, I only added an image, and made some minor edits. Why shouldn't I work on a page if he does not work on it? Maybe he should carry on "refreshing" the page after someone's edit, not reverting the edits. I don't want a war, I support you administrators, but I have to say that you sometimes act like the whole Wookieepedia was only yours. If I find problems, spelling mistakes or other things in the article, I would still edit them. I don't know how can this cause conflicts... Furthermore, as I mentioned, you can't make an article a property of one user for a long time. If CC really wanted to make changes on the page, than he would have made it on a single day. I don't understand what edits can he make which take months. If he really worked on it for that long time, the article now should be longer now than Anakin Skywalker's article! I am a faithful Wookieepedian, and I edit anything that has a problem, or is out of date. Please do not revert my edits just because someone namely edits it, while he is not working on it. Otherwise, if that page belongs to CC, please rename it "Savage Opress - CC7657's property". I don't put WIP tags to certain pages I follow, please don't you do that either, until you really, constantly work on it. Thank you.--XXLVenom998 13:57, March 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • I understand what you are talking about, I partly agree with it, but it is not the question of a few days, it has been there for months. It is quite annoying that you can't edit a page for half a year, and there is no real clue that there was editing. If he is that slow, than others should edit it. And the template hasn't disappeared yet, so it means that it may not be edited for years! Please talk with him about it, that article needs editing!--XXLVenom998 14:32, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

RE

I'm familiar with said policy, thanks. According to which the removal of the image was perfectly legitimate, as it is contradicted by a higher canon source; George Lucas having personally approved Maul's resurrection and new backstory, and the official Encyclopedia stating that his tattoos are of Nightbrother, not Sith origin. In the future, please use the "show preview" function, so as to avoid bombarding me with "you have new message" notifications. Thank you. Jayden Matthews 13:18, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

"As long as a piece of information comes from a canon source and is not contradicted by a higher source, it is accepted as canon." In this case, the image was contradicted by a higher source, ergo, I removed it. I never attempted to decide myself what is canon. The Encyclopedia does that, as does George Lucas, I was simply following the current policy. I'm curious as to what which part of my previous post you interpreted as "rudness", as I'm pretty sure I said thank you. Really, I made a simple request, intended to spare myself further inconvenience. If you are unable to accept polite advice then perhaps you should refrain from dispensing it to others. Jayden Matthews 13:44, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
"Personal attacks do not include civil language used to describe an editor's actions, and when made without involving their personal character, should not be construed as personal attacks". Please be very carefull before making such an accusation again, as I do not take such aspersions lightly. Thank you. Jayden Matthews 14:01, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
As demonstrated by the above policy excerpt nothing I have said even borders on a personal attack. Indeed, I have been nothing but civil to you throught our interactions. If, however, you feel I have offended you, I apologize. Please feel free to take the appropriate action. In the meantime I wholeheartedly agree that we should cease this discussion, as it is distracting me from a whole host of other things that I would rather be doing. I'm sure you feel the same. Hey there, I have read your 'new policy', which is a nonsense thing. Don't even try making this up, everyone realised this is an april fools joke, which is not a good joke anymore. Replacing valid pictures with picture that do not belong there, is not fanon, but vandalism. You are an administrator, so don't keep on saying this valid thing nonsense, this does not belong here. • Reply to XXLVenom998: I think the admins have each edit stored somewhere, it probably won't take long for them, it just makes the guy look like a kiddie. - HeadyBoy—Unsigned comment by HeadyBoy (talk • contribs)
    • Can you at least answer us and tell us why you are doing this?—Unsigned comment by HeadyBoy (talk • contribs)
      • I take that as a no?--HeadyBoy 17:10, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

Can you PLEASE change the Darth Maul page back to normal? I don't know why you did that; it was stupid. Please change it back to what it was, because that is vandalism.

OK

Ok, so everyone who is a faithful Wookieepedian is blocked. So this is becoming Babypedia?--XXLVenom998 18:59, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

Can you please stop vandalizing the articles? Thanks.

  • I am expecting to receive a "sorry-template" tomorrow morning from all of you administrators. Thanks in advance. --XXLVenom998 19:05, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

Posting in JangFett's talk page

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

I am the Wookieepedian of the Month?! That is funny! I will make a userbox that said "This User is the April's Fool's Wookieepedian of the Month of 2012" and by the way, spread the word among the admins that I trick my wiki people that we are merging with you all! :D Anakin Skyobiliviator (talk) 20:42, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

Power

I don't think you are worthy of being an Administrator here. You are abusing your power by vandalizing the stuff here. And secondly, there are people who dislike Maul, but in the end Lucas is the one who decides what he wants to do with the series, as he was the one who created Star Wars. And because of the ungrateful fans like you, he is even thinking of putting an end to the series, which is actually really painful for the true Star Wars fans. I think you should stop ruining what Lucas has created. There should be no fanon or fake stuff. If this is an April Fools joke, which hopefully it is, then please put everything back to normal soon. If not, then you are probably one of the most despicable people I met, to take such drastic measures just because you disagree with Lucas. Lucas worked hard to create Star Wars, and we should honor him for that, even if we disagree with some of his ideas. And i'm pretty sure, that even if he made Star Wars just the way you wanted it, you'd still find something to complain about. And George Lucas didn't just create Star Wars to please you. So please take my thoughts into consideration. While I may have been a little harsh there, I don't really mean for you to feel hurt or angry by my comments. Ok, thanks, bye.

  • You are absolutely right, Infamous.----Skenar 20px (Talk) 23:32, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
    • I agree! Jang should be desysoped immediately. 1358 (Talk) 11:44, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

April Fools

Maybe it took it too seriously, and if I was I'm sorry, but you did too much by no allowing us to edit. And why if it was true? That would have been terrible. Next year try to create a joke that no one is able to discover it's a joke. Anymway, well done this year, you really worried us!----Skenar 20px (Talk) 01:07, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • And when will we be able to edit again?----Skenar 20px (Talk) 02:02, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

April Fools 2

Hello, first I want to say great job with the April Fools joke! It was very convincing and I can’t honestly say I completely knew that it was an joke although I did wonder because, among other things, the admins would have known better then to do it on April 1st if it was real. I had determined to watch from a distance until tomorrow when things would settle down a little bit. My question is why you have already marked it as a joke? Shouldn’t you wait until it is midnight in at least all of the US? When you started moving everything it was not even 10 pm where I live which ruined the thrill of having to wait until morning to see if it was real. Just wondering and again great job!- Princess GLG 01:51, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Okay, that's fine. I know it was crazy today! You (and everybody else) must have put a lot of work into this and I want you to know I enjoyed it even though some people got mad about it. I guess part of it is I'm still rather new here and it really wouldn't have changed a thing in my real life even if Wookieepedia disappeared completely. Thanks for all the fun!—Unsigned comment by Princess Leia Organa Solo-GLG (talk • contribs)

Well played, Sir, well played

Wookieecookie
Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!
for enduring constant complaints and near-borderline personal attacks for the duration of the April Fool's Day joke. You took the bombardment of your talk page like a champ against those with a sense of humor bypass. Well played, Sir. Well played.

I Knew it!!!!

Fools Day

OK, it was well done, we started to believe. I hope that we won't be blocked for yesterday and everything is the same as it was, sure? You played it well, indeed. --XXLVenom998 17:08, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

Abeloth

Hey Jang, back on the 1st you added the {{TCWRetcon}} template to Abeloth—I assumed at the time it was just part of the AFD joke, but it hasn't been removed. From what I understand, there's nothing said in Apocalypse that contradicts the info we have about the Ones from TCW, so the template isn't needed; unless I'm missing something. Cheers, Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 21:38, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Yeah no worries; Apocalypse basically touches on the origins of the Ones and creates a backstory for them that ties them together with Abeloth's backstory. There isn't really anything to do with TCW except for a brief recounting of the mission to Mortis itself (and that recounting isn't very detailed). Anyway, I second Cav's sentiment above. :P Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 23:42, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
