To join, you don't have to request it from me; it's not "exclusive". One month already

Hello to all the members of WookieeProject: The Clone Wars! Considering the project has just been launched, we've had a great first month, taking three articles to FA status and five articles to GA status. I would like to remind you to please try to do whatever you can to help out; there are still many potential articles that can be taken up as projects, and many of you are already working very hard on them. In the next month, we have a goal to double (if not multiply even more) our current FAs and GAs, because once Season Two starts airing, there will be a ton of more articles that will require attention, and it's best if we get as many as we can out of the way now.       • By the way, I've noticed that you've made a great deal of edits for the Malevolence. While it's helping the article, you might want to consider using the "Submit" button to check your work before you submit your edit of the article. CC7567 (talk) 23:37, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
        • No offense, but I don't think copying other articles (such as the Battle of Phu, Battle of Abregado and Battle of Ryndellia) into the Malevolence article is the way to go. The article needs to be told from the ship's perspective, not from the general battle perspective, which is what the battle articles are in. As well, please check sourcing throughout the article. Also, please remember to respect the {{Inuse}} tag on articles (as on the Battle of the Kaliida Nebula), as someone may be editing the article at the time, and when they submit their information, their edit will be lost.           • I personally find that copying articles implies that one doesn't feel the need to do any more work, which isn't always the best idea to portray. There's no reason that the article can't be expanded more from the perspective of the ship itself. Also, less can be told from the Republic's point of view. The focus is the Malevolence, not the battles it was in. The Battle of the Kaliida Nebula can also be expanded much more, and more can be said for the warship's characteristics.             • It's up to you what you want to do. You don't have to check in with me with what you plan to do; I was only giving suggestions.   • I've noticed that you've been reviewing some of the current GANs, and your help is appreciated. Some of your objections have been rather minor ones (such as your review for The Clone Wars: Procedure, in which you mentioned a typo), and I'm not sure if you're already aware of this, but there is an unofficial {{Sofixit}} clause that most reviewers follow. Basically, it's that if there are any minor mistakes, you correct them yourself; it's mostly to prevent people from leaving extremely minor/unnecessary objections. Thanks. Redlinks

Hey JangFett,

Just to let you know that two redlinks isn't usually classified as an excessive amount. Those tags are usually used for when there are at least more than 5 or 6, and you'll mostly find them on articles about sources or novels. For Good Articles, there also isn't a redlink limt.   • Hey Jang, I just wanted to reiterate the same thing so we're all clear on this. The GAN rules state that an article should not be tagged with an excessive number of redlinks, and as Harrar has said that's really for articles that have maybe 5, 6, 7+ redlinks in them. The Featured article rules on the FAN page, which is really Wookieepedia's guidelines for our highest quality articles, allows a maximum of 3 redlinks. So if a GAN like Fendrilon Koozar has only two, it doesn't need to be tagged with the redlink template. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:48, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

I've noticed that you've been making an edit to say that you've addressed every single objection. It's recommended that you just do all the work you can on the article and then submit the "addressed objections" on the GAN page at one time. It's currently clogging up the recent changes page. Thought I'd toss this image out as a possibility for the "Aftermath" section instead of the current funeral shot. My thinking is two-fold. 1. The funeral image is already used elsewhere. 2. The image of him carrying his mother is the direct aftermath, and the look on his face really show's how the massacre affected him and his future fall to the dark side. Axe GAN

Hey Jang, please make sure to use the "preview" button before saving any changes to articles. That way, we can avoid the little mix-up we had over one of my objections to your GAN. Also, making several edits at a time—rather than saving after every little edit—makes it easier for an objector to check and see if the nominator has really fixed that which was objected. When you make several small edits, this becomes hard to track, and it can be difficult to accurately compare past versions to current versions of an article. Also, such frequent edits can make it difficult for me to get a copyedit in, as I am often blocked by edit conflicts. Battle of Orto Plutonia

As you've got it up for FA, I wanted to get your OK before I add an image to the Prelude section. It's from the Cold Snap webcomic showing the Talz walking away after wiping out the Republic base. Then I'd bump the current Prelude image down to the third paragraph, aligned right, and stagger the subsequent images accordingly. Hey Jang. Most of those edits look like good faith edits, not vandalism. Are you sure those are incorrect? While he may be linking to incorrect pages, that would be because of inexperience, but if the information is correct then it's not really vandalism. You may just need to leave him a talk page message asking him where he got his info from and to be more careful with his spelling and linking. Barb Mentir

To help out CC Lee, I completely copyedited Barb Mentir and reword a fair bit to make things sound and flow better. As to your objection on his P&T about his piloting skill, it now reads. Also, he was a pilot skilled enough to fly a Flarestar-class ship and shoot down a Nu-class shuttle, piloted by experienced clone trooper pilots. Concerning uploading images

Let's say this is purely hypothetical (which of course, it isn't). What if a person wanted to make the Family tree on Clan Fett look better by creating a family tree in Publisher and then putting it into Paint. Thanks for the cookie (it tastes delicious). There really isn't much else I can do on this wiki (in fact I get a lot of my Star Wars knowledge from this very site). I just think redirecting should only be for when someone types in the article name on "Search Wookieepedia". Otherwise it just doesn't seem right.
