Admin Nomanation

  • I'm getting my guts checked before asking you this important question. How would you feel about me nominating you as Admin? If that was a long time ago, you oviously proved yourself by now, right? --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 00:25, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
    • I don't know. Ever since the last one, I don't know if I've inproved. It's worth a shot, I suppose. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:26, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
      • If I may butt in, when I first started at Wookieepedia in June, one of the first userpages I went to was Nebulax's (the fleet admiral part impressed me), but found him at first to be kind of snobby, in both a project I was working on and in other talk pages I read. (No offense). Recently, though, he has done a much better job of being welcoming and encouraging to other users. As the pre-eminent fleet junkie, I was quite excited when he not only supported the fleet junkie userbox, but also complimented me on it-something not too common in his old days. Also, he has been helpful to several new users. In short, I'd vote for him. However, I believe the reason the last nomination of RMF failed was because of an admin vote who thought we didn't need more admins. There currently is a new policy under proposal at the Senate Hall about admin votes, etc, so I would wait until that is implemented. Sorry about the length. Atarumaster88 03:27, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
  • ATTENTION! THERE IS A NEW CONSENSUS TRACK ON THE ADMIN NOMINATION POLICY!! PLEASE VOTE NOW!! Atarumaster88 14:29, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Minor Edits

  • Hey Jack, not trying to be a jerk, but could you please start using the minor edit button? Thanks. Lonnyd 15:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
    • No problem. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 19:30, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Such as this or this. Lonnyd 01:12, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
        • Thanks. Lonnyd 11:21, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
          • Usually I only check the "This is a minor edit" box when I remove or add a space, but I suppose I can use it for other things, too. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:22, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
            • I genuinely meant that thanks, i noticed you had been using it. Generally, i think of a minor edit as something that does not include new information. I'm pretty sure Wookieepedia policy agrees. It just saves folks from having to check a change that is just an addition of a link and such. Again, not trying to be a jerk. Lonnyd 11:30, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Fanfic

  • Permission to reference Nebulax's Fist in my fanfic? Atarumaster88 18:52, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Fleet Admiral Nebulax is welcome to try and hunt my atarumaster down, but be careful! If you would like to include something about nearly vaporizing a small suspect Rebel freighter near Zhar in 11 BBY, you are more than welcome to do so. For the sake of avoiding conflicts, let's not have each other fight any major battles after 5 ABY, as it would be messy. P.S. My fanfic is longer than yours. lol. Atarumaster88 20:23, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
    • I'm planning to do a major rewrite and expand mine sometime in the near future, though... Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:25, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Wonderful. I was waiting until 1000 edits to really make mine, but now I feel free to expand at my leisure. Atarumaster88 00:59, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Wish you luck, bud

Hope

  • Hey Jack cheer up. So far you have ten votes and 4 opposing votes so there's hope for you yet. By the way what type of history are they talking about? Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJbig3 15:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
    • 11 votes now. :) StarNeptuneTalk to me! 15:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Major problem: 1- an admin voted against him, and we are still under the old rules. Second, even under any new rules, both bureaucrats voted against. That makes it 11 votes for to infinitely many against. Sorry to be the bearer of ill new, but thought that should be clear. I did vote for you, Admiral, even if you want to hunt my character down (lol). Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 18:52, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry

Archive

  • Hey admiral I was wondering if you can help me. I've going around users, that have been here longer than me, how to create an archive. Can you please help me it's for my talk page, it has been giving me and the other users problems.

Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJbig3 20:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Your back

  • As I said ....... there's still hope. Though when you go to the featured article page ignore that little argument me and ulug had. I'm embarrested enough as it is. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 23:55, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, we'll see what happens. Probably won't be good, though. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 23:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Come on Admiral I thought Imperials were supposed to be tough. Like I've said before have some hope. I know you will win. ;)

Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJbig3 01:13, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Where does she come from?! She has your page and my edits wired somehow. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 01:22, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Jaina, unfortunately I'm going to have to wait much longer, again. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:04, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Wow Jabba really thinks that *laughs*. Anyway too answer your question: The right time would be when the admins see that you have changed. You are still a little mean to users, like the guy who thought Vader could fly, but you have changed alot, in time the users would begin to see that and that, Admiral, would be the time. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:48, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
      • I wasn't really mean to that anon. I thought he was posting nonsense, but when he made the movie reference, I realized that I had been wrong about his question. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:49, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Admiral are you upset about the results? I don't ever want to be and admin. because it's tough, especially in the voting phase, but you seem to want to be one. Like I've said before I would be the first one to vote for you.

P.S I actually thought that question was kind of funny but I didn't want to be mean it's just not me. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 01:05, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Something special I made only for you

  • Fleet Admiral, I made something special for you to see: Go to the talk page on my fanfic and you will see it. I'm not sure if I will reveal this to the community as a whole. I don't know why I did it, except that you have been given the short end of the stick yet again. God bless, or as they say on Adumar, "Confusion to your enemies!" Maybe there is something you can do with unreconstructed Imperials besides kill them. ~Elscol Loro

Defacto Admin

Nice. I like. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 20:09, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks. I honestly thought the actual admins would have a problem with it. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:11, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
    • I think I said it in your history section, but in case you didn't look, it's great. All I did was add the Nomination Template back in. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 21:39, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Congrats Admiral!, I just knew you could do it! ;) – Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 23:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Wow I guess what Star said was right, your past is coming back to haunt you. I saw all of your old talkpages to really see why they would say no but to me you've come a long way. There's always next time and when that time comes I would be the first one to vote. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
      • The question is: When will the next time be? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
        • nebulax, being an admin blows take it from me i have admin rights over at my dod clan site (www.owsclan.com) and it is miserable since you have to take care of everybody elses mistakes. plus eventually your subordinates will rise up and drag you down to the tar pits. Ugluk 01:17, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I think it's great even if you lost. As Ugluk said and I have said way too much, Admin. ship is tough and horrible. Your better off being close to an admin. than being a disrespeacted admin. if most of the Admins. were agenst you. I do agree with you about the userboxes. I put a note on my final contribution to that Ill-fated page. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 01:24, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Very clever, as usual Admiral. Hey, think of it this way, you more edits than most of the admins themselves, you were Wookieepedian of the month, something everyone who wants to stay here dreams of getting, and a lot of the new users, as well as the old, look up to you. It's not that bad at all. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 02:54, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Even though being an administrator could be a pain in the butt, I think it's actually something good. That way, when a vandal shows up and no other administrators are on, I can quickly ban him. But, oh well. Hopefully the third time's the charm. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:22, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Love the Lando pic btw:D -maybe its time you attained a new rank, "Baron Administrator Nebulax" has a nice ring to it and there's nothing that says you have to be a civilian (or you could go with "Grand Moff Nebulax", in keeping with the 'Fleet Junky' theme).Tocneppil 21:51, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

I put that in

because I have seen a lot of non-Star Wars canon stuff on the Internet saying he survived and was killed by Boba Fett in Coruscant's lower levels. Don't we have to acknowledge non-Star Wars canon theories too? Sith Lord Pigeon 20:39, 31 August 2006 (UTC) P.S. I was getting ready to remove that, but you saved me the effort. :P

You like watching out for me, don't you? Sith Lord Pigeon 20:42, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Position of the Conclave on Kessel pic

I know that you have a good reason for having the pic where it is, and is tired of reverting any edits that change its position (at least this is what I conclude from your edi summaries). I have a suggestion which I think you could do: There is a way to put notes inside articles which can only be read in the "edit mode." Notes like we have next to the gender tab of the Jedi Exile's box. - TopAce 17:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Regrets

I am deeply sorry that your nomination was turned down Admiral. I was away and thus was unable to show my support. By the time I returned your wishes had been turned down. If it is any consolation I would have given you my support, but perhaps there will be other opportunities? Again you have my regrets.--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel)20px 10:50, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Vote!!

Admiral, please come out and vote for I-Drive as it is very close this weekend. "Every vote counts." I would prefer you vote for Spy, but it's entirely up to you. Happy editing and confusion to your enemies. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:18, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

WPotM

  • I just cleared up the entire List of Hutts page (Except 2, I can't find any info. on them in my pile of Hutt sources right here. Hope thats fine. Though everythig else is BLUE! Do you think I'd be good for Wookirpedian of the mounth? --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 01:29, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
    • My advice: Wait a little bit. It's not that I'm saying you'd lose, but it's like becoming an administrator: You just want to wait a little bit longer and get in more contributions before taking a shot at it. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 01:31, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
  • OK. I'll wait. Do you like what I did though? --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 01:34, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
  • You're right Jack, WoTM is like being an administrator. I guess I would have to wait awhile too. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 21:47, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Joking (or "Darth Vader can Fly")

Obviously. I even put stuff in capitals and had stuck my tongue out at the end. I was mocking the absurdity of that particular discussion. (Who the hell would think Darth Vader could FLY?) (195.92.168.165 12:28, 3 September 2006 (UTC))

B-wing Appearances

  • Fleet Admiral, I was the one who put the Clone Campaigns reference in on the B-wing starfighter. Apparently, you either do not have the game or have not fully played it, because the last Republic bonus mission is actually the liberation of Coruscant by the Rebel Alliance. In that mission, it is possible that a squadron of B-wings appear to assist you. Might I also remind you that it is a special (non-buildable) unit that is not available until one has the expansion. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:21, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Sorry. I do not have the game, and when I hear "Clone Campaigns", I relate it to the Clone Wars-era version of Galactic Battlegrounds only. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:27, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Forgiven. Hey, I actually know one fleet related thing that you didn't! :-P Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 20:48, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Atarumaster, I didn't study "Appearances of Rebel starfighters" back at the Imperial Academy. ;) Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:50, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
          • Of course, because you Imps largely believe in wasting your fighters and pilots. Just kidding, because you do have the TIE Defender and others. Sorry, I'm a large B-wing fan. So many Star Destroyers out there just waiting to be diced up. And Imperial Intelligence always was lacking on their training methods. On a more serious note, would you think that a template for users who have been nominated as WotM would be a good idea? Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 23:39, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Why?

  • Why do keep telling me to knock off? Can you prove that Triple Zero says all Accs are crewed by clones? Can you provide the quote that says so? So youre willing to put fanon into the Wiki just to suit your side in this debate? I dont mean to sound overly aggresive but other than saying knock it off, pls explain why you are against removing fanon. Thank you --Razzy1319 02:47, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Fleet Admiral, I already replied to this user. Obviously, add on if you like and have the quote, but I was trying to prevent any aggressive negotiations. Maybe it will work. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 03:09, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Thanks, Atarumaster. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 13:50, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
      • You're welcome. What's the deal with the whole Acclamator crew/clone trooper numbers/Karen Traviss/Kuralyov thing that's been going on? I don't really follow it, because I don't know much about the era. The short version will work. :)Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 14:40, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Basically, Razzy here was posting unsourced stuff that we kept removing but he kept adding in, which resulted in him being banned for a bit. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 14:49, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
          • Hmmm. That's not good. However, my "Jedi intuition" makes me think that this is somehow connected with the whole "how many clones were there anyway" thing. Ugh. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:36, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
            • Again, there is no proof of this supposed quote from triple zero... pls provide it...why did you erase my addition? the only source for this is from Kural who got it from troll from the TFN boards --Razzy1319 11:59, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
              • Razzy, I'm just keeping special attention on that page, and it seems like every edit you're making is something that is unsourced. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:08, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
                • The edits I've made: "Bounty hunters being used in the same area where the clone troopers are defined to be everywhere" Republic Comic 70, I believe, "Non-clones acclamator crews being used to transport the clone army" Jedi Starfighter game. "Grevious' alledged quintillions" - is from Odds and Abel's miscalculation in the grevious article ("only billions of droids" versus the quintillions that supposedly exist). Another thing the numbers part of the article was put there for both views, the pro and the con... just like the fando page both sides should be expressed, so why is our interpretation suddenly being purged? -Razzy1319 03:14, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                  • Bounty hunters were not used for the same reasons as clone troopers, Razzy. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:07, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                    • Razzy this discussion, on any page, is over end it or be banned. Jedi Dude 11:27, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                      • Why do they need to do what the clone troopers do? Its the fact that they were used in a place where clone troopers are described to be everywhere, to be omnipresent. Now why would you use bounty hunters, an expensive venture, when you supposedly have an endless amount of disposable clones all over Coruscant, an omnipresent amount, and you use bounty hunters? either Palps is stupid or that line is a metaphor. again answer this: Another thing the numbers part of the article was put there for both views, the pro and the con... just like the fando page both sides should be expressed, so why is our interpretation suddenly being purged? --210.213.242.212 13:42, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Razzy, if you keep bugging Jack's talk page when he doesn't want you to, it counts as trolling and I will take action. Kuralyov 14:34, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

sorry...

Fleet Admiral J. ,I'll...I will apoligize for the comments I was posting on the RC-1138 talk page.I left a friendly messege on the talk page. When I said:

"Ugh.Okay.I removed those comments because they were kind of stupid and pointless (atleast my comments on this page) and were a waste of space. And I'm not trying to post inappropprate behavior.I was only worked up about a MINOR spelling error.Sheesh.End of this disscussion right now."
―SWME

And then you said:

"But that doesn't give you the right to just remove comments, because my comments were included."
Jack Nebulax

And then I quoted what you said and wrote:

"Ugh.Alright already. *thougts*Must...control...anger...Must... listen...to...what other people are saying...*end thoughts*"
―SWME

And then you said:

"Oh boy..."
―Jack Nebulax

And then I replied:

"You got that right. Now,to keep us from wasting our time, let's end this conversation and learn from what you said.Do you got that?"
―SWME

I hope you weren't annoyed.--SWME 03:55, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Stub

Would it be alright to take off the stub notice on the Hutt article Orko. I was wondering if I was allowed. It doesn't seem like one now. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 20px 20px 17:26, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Organizations

Admiral, I need your advice. I was thinking of starting an organization where users who support the Confederacy band together to discuss the Confederacy, edit and defend articles that have to do with the Confederacy, and create a userbox item to identify that they are part of this organization. I thought it would be fun. I even thought that users elect a leader of this organization. If you think this is a good idea, or have any suggestions, or would even like to help organize this, please say so on my talk page.--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel)20px 19:33, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Do you mean something here? Because that's not what Wookieepedia is about. Sure, we're a community, but not that much of a community. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 19:49, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Somebody named Dooku wants to organize a separate group dealing with and defending articles concerning the Confederacy? Wasn't that a plot in a movie somewhere? ;)Tocneppil 21:14, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Good fanon pic?

I need your opinion, I know you hate fanon, but I made a cute image that's the "Deleted scean" in episode 3. It's Below:

Hi Jack

  • re. the YT-1300 pic with the additional cargo modifications -it is now no longer in the section describing external cargo modifications, could you move it back, please? Also the word 'The' is now separated from the rest of its sentence in the section marked "Appeal". I thought using a 'clear' instruction could avoid that problem, but it popped up again after your edit. Is that the proper editing procedure, or should I use another?Tocneppil 01:04, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Actually, the edits you made reminded me of a logistical problem I was going to ask someone about. Obviously you didn't like the big blank space to the right of the colored diagram of the YT-1300f/p -neither did I, but the magazine article I was using as a source has a list of the diffrences in the layouts of the freighter & passenger variations. I was going to list them in a column alongside the f/p diagram, but wasn't too sure of the coding required. I'd appreciate the assistance if you can provide it.Tocneppil 01:21, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, I'm not that good with coding, but that wasn't the only big white space for me. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:05, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Really? -Oh, well then I'll try to find a better way to put in my next entries ( I was using two pairs of these { around the word 'clear' to keep the paragraphs from being squeezed between the pics).Tocneppil 20:25, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
          • Well, yeah, the "clear" template tends to make too much of a space, if you ask me. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
            • I agree, but the alternative word-squeeze (for lack of a better term) is distracting to read. And that big white gap to the right of the deck plans diagram was what I was asking about -I was going to put in a bigger list of what are in the Legends boxes in the diagram, I just didn't know how to code my entry. As for the second pic, the one with the cargo modifications, it is now out-of-context & should be in the section that talks about external modifications.Tocneppil 20:41, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
              • Pictures don't have to be in the section that they refer to. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:44, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
                • Some magazine editors would say otherwise. I only put it in the section that its caption seemed to make relevant -heck, I put titles on the sections because I thought it would make the whole article look better. The example I was following was the Mara Jade article.Tocneppil 21:09, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
                  • Well, one: we're not a magazine and two: each picture takes up room, and that one needed to be moved from where it was. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:12, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
                    • No we are not, but I assumed we followed the same rules of editing & esthetics.Tocneppil 21:33, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
                      • No. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:30, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                        • Well, that's my mistake then, thanks for letting me know. But I'd argue the move of the pic as a point of relevancey since we are supposed to be creating articles from the POV of a source of reference set in the future of the GFFA.Tocneppil 04:34, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                          • What does the place of a picture have to do with the POV of the future of the Star Wars Galaxy? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:05, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
                            • Aren't Wookieepedia (in-universe) articles supposed to be written as if from the persective of the POV of the GFFA in the future? If Wookieepedia is set up as an in-universe Star Wars encyclopedia, then it should have a correlation between pictures and their location within said article. Since the pic of the YT-1300 with the external cargo pod modification has a caption saying so, it would make more sense for it to be placed in the part of the article that talks about those modifications. There it could be viewed directly as an example, rather than the reader having to pause in reading the article to scroll up to look at the picture.Tocneppil 00:22, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
                              • Except there's a problem with that: Wookieepedia is viewed by many people, and each person has a different screen resolution, which sometimes causes white spaces to appear when a picture is in a certain place. Therefore, pictures have to be moved to a better location. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:33, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I was just thinking about that -if the picture were perhaps smaller, would the text be able to fit around it then? I was thinking also of highlighting the 'external cago pods' to link to their own section where we coould have a larger version of the pic there. I'd hate to lose it from the YT-1300 article though, because it assists the readers with the visualization of the varieties of YT-1300s (darn Big White Spaces).Tocneppil 00:43, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
    • The size of the picture doesn't change the fact that there's a white space. Also, the picture isn't going to be removed from the article, if that's what you're thinking. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:45, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
      • When I said I'd hate to lose the picture, I meant that I'd hate to lose the picture. But I had thought to have it in a larger size in a separate article about external cargo pods. Then a smaller version might fit into the appropiate section where the text could be wrapped around the pic without leaving a Big White Space. I just rather thought to talk it out with you rather than doing it myself first and risking a ping-ponging back and forth of edits.Tocneppil 00:51, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Bob'ika Vhett or Boba Fett

It's good, fits in with the introduction. P.S congrats on your droid award. Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJbig3 20:34, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

CF9 Crossfire?

Dear sir,

I have seen your comment on the aforementioned page saying that it is not an X-wing variant. Could you please explain your logic to me? I mean, it has 4 S-foils (right, someone needs to create an article for the S-foil), it's made by Incom...what else is there?

Cheers,

Images Thumb tag

"Please start using "thumb" for pictures that are in the main part of the article. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:35, 7 September 2006 (UTC)"

•••• May I ask why it matters? No disrespect, just an honest question. If an image is of something that the article is about, there seems to me to be no reason to use the thumb tag. The only reason it seems a thumb tag is needed is when you want to put a caption for the image, something not necessary when the picture is of the specific item the article is about. What the heck?

  • Fleet Admiral, I am hoping that I can trust you to give me an accurate depiction of what the heck was going on. I just read the blog entry by DM, the subsequent replies, etc- basically all the links on WhiteBoy's page. Now, I was on WP at the time, but had only been on for about a month. Apparently, while I was learning to write an article, we were ripping each other apart over Karen Traviss, DM, and three million clones? Have we become a laughingstock among the SW fandom?? I try and stay neutral in all my edits, but are we really this bad? This is almost depressing. Because I don't do anything else in the SW universe, I never would have guessed this. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:34, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
    • That is nonsense. We are probably the most highly regarded SW site in all of fandom, maybe after TFN. Dark Moose is a bully and a liar. I'm sure he would be hard pressed to explain why Dan Wallace, Abel Pena, John Jackson Miller, and Kevin Rubio are all big fans when we're so 'evil.' Kuralyov 04:42, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, I'd prefer not to have this discussion here. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:01, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
        • yep end it open a forum topic on it because we don't want anything being associated with Jack Jedi Dude 16:07, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
          • I guess I don't care too much, and I don't want to restart that ghastly argument that I read, so I'll just drop it. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:12, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Week 2 image

Is this really "Fanon"? It's fan made, but still. I always wondered were the gamorreans were at Doc.94 when Han came in and talked to Jabba. And this is what it would look like if Lucas used the puppet Jabba, insted of the CGI one:

If I wanted to crate a bio for characters in my biography, would I have to create a User Subpage for that?--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel)20px 00:01, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
