Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

Editing

Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! The place where you can freely experiment with editing is Wookieepedia:Jundland Wastes. Note that the Jundland Wastes sandbox is periodically wiped clean, so if you want a more permanent place for experiments, you can create user subpages (also called workbenches), by creating User:Imperators III/Experiment or User:Imperators III/Workbench or whatever else title fits you. Eras

Hello. If you need help on how to format the Eras template, there are instructions and definitions of the template's fields on its page here. Duplicate articles

You should not create new articles for subjects that already have articles. If you wish to contribute information of stormtroopers to Wookieepedia, then please edit the stormtrooper article instead of creating a new page. Duplicate articles have no place on Wookieepedia. Please stop

Please stop creating duplicate articles. Any information on minetroopers should go to the existing minetrooper article. If "Mine Trooper" is used anywhere, then the minetrooper article should be moved to that more formal title per Wookieepedia's naming policy instead of creating a new page. - - -OOM 224 ^{༼༽talk༼༽} 13:19, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

Then please check whether a page exists already beforehand. You can do so by searching for the article using the search bar. Please also follow the Attribution and Sourcing policies. Minetrooper

That looks fine for the most part! Just remember to cite information with a reference as I have done here. For future reference, you can use this guide for inserting references. Maintenance templates

I don't see why Cleanup is needed for The Vow of Silver Dawn. A good rule of thumb is to reserve maintenance templates such as Cleanup and Citation for articles that requires a drastic overhaul/verification. As you can see here and here, Wookieepedia's maintenance categories are quite bloated, so it's best to keep the numbers down. Thanks. - - -OOM 224 ^{༼༽talk༼༽} 12:10, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
