Dalgoni, the Shades, and the Pyronese dragons are all none starwars fictations. They were created/posted around 2004 by me and my friend. The point was to see how long it would stick, and if anyone would add anything to it. The post, i believe, stayed on for about 2-3 years, and a couple of people added a few things here and there. 20:12, 21 November 2010 (Nax)

POV and accuracy templates

I'm not sure if you'r farmiliar with wikipedia,but they have templates that mark inaccurate articles and sections and to mark POV. Are such templates available on wookiepedia? Thanks.--Nadirali نادرالی

  • Any articles that are entirely non-canon should be marked with {{Noncanon}}. Articles with non-canon sections should contain {{Noncanonstart}} and {{Noncanonend}} to mark the section. Where there any specific articles you were referring to? Green Tentacle (Talk) 22:50, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

      • You don't edit the category itself. You add each article to it. For example to add Luke Skywalker to [[:Category:Jedi]] you'd add <nowiki>[[Category:Jedi|Skywalker, Luke]]</nowiki> to the bottom of his page. You don't need to touch the category at all.   • Everything needs to have a source stated per Wookieepedia:Sourcing so you can use {{Ref}} if an entire section comes from one source (though some people don't like that) or use <ref> tags more frequently (at the end of each paragraph if its from one source or throughout if its from more than one).     • Taking out a bunch of Jedi isn't easy, even for the 501st. You'd need a source that says they're capable of beating multiple Jedi in a straight fight to be able to say it or to justify it with a few specific examples of their kills if we know any. The kid they kill in front of Bail Organa for example. Actually, while we're at it is there a source for some of them having doubts about it because neither that or their Jedi killing ability really comes across in the movie. If the novel goes into more detail than the film, then you could put that as the source. Maybe I'm being picky, it really is a good article but I'd just like to make sure everything's covered before I support. Green Tentacle (Talk) 22:17, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey, do you have Gamer #7? I would love to know some of the details from it. Does it really state that the Independence in it is the same one that served at Endor? Or does it just say Mon Cal cruiser? Either way, that is a cool find. I was not aware that Gamer did a article like that. So I guess it could be a different ship but there's no reason to think that and CUSWE assumes it's the same ship too. Being an RPG scenario, there isn't really a story or even an outcome, hence me not being any more specific than the fact they fought.     • Well, given that the NJO takes place 21 years after Endor, I would imagine that the Independence is a newer cruiser, possibly a MC90 or later design. There were few older MC80 and MC80a in service at the time of the NJO, if any. However, since we have little information at present, it is impossible to rule out the possibility that the cruiser is the same. Also, you have done some fantastic work on this article, so it really doesn't harm it by keeping the post-Endor section. :-) However, I would possibly make a note in the BtS section stating that the Independence from the NJO-era could be in new ship. Other than that, I have no real objections. Like I said, this is turning into one of the best Mon Cal cruiser articles in the entire Wookieepedia. AdmiralNick22 16:48, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Look under the article Jedi and the Jedi Code cannot be made with the quote templete because each line in the poem is a different line on the page. So, there was no source for the quote until I added the very long code that is on your talk page. It would be easier if a templete is made but I do not know the first thing about making one. Maris Brood image

Would you mind unlocking [[:File:Character Maris 02.jpg|Character Maris 02.jpg]]? I can't see any reason why it is locked for one, and the second reason is that the image/file size is insanely huge. It's 6000px high and 1.8MB in size. That's rediculous. And for the poor people that may still be on dialup, I hate to think how long it would take to open that image page. I've got it shrunk down to half that at 3000px and around 600Kb in size, but I'm unable to upload it because of the lock. I brought up the issue in the image talk page asking if anyone had a problem with me uploading a version that was more managable in size and no one has responded to it. - JMAS 13:24, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

  • It was protected because it had become a popular link on Digg.com because it was such a high-res image. Sannse said she didn't mind the huge image size while it was getting people to come to the site so I guess we should leave it for a while. Cropping Soldiers

  • Well, first you need to crop the image in something because it has a huge white border, and then upload it again. When you add it to an article do it like [[:File:Rebel Trooper 2.jpg|thumb|right|180px|Rebel troopers]]. Green Tentacle (Talk) 23:05, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
