First Order
Hi Flux. The reason your edits to First Order are being reverted is because you're not providing a source saying that the First Order was formed after the Battle of Jakku. Unless a source explicitly states it was formed after the Battle of Jakku, it's still speculation. Let me know if you have any questions about this. Well okay, bu what if I added Star Wars Battlefront as a source? Battlefront features the Battle of Jakku which features the New Republic against the Galactic Empire. So the Empire doesn't become the First Order until after thatFlux 345 (talk) 23:51, April 23, 2015 (UTC)

- Well I believe it did because of that Twitter post from a few days ago saying that Rebel Alliance = Resistance and Galactic Empire = First Order. I don't think think the Resistance and First Order are off-shoots. Flux 345 (talk) 00:19, April 24, 2015 (UTC)
- That Twitter post is from a fan who was repeating basic information seen on placards at The Force Awakens exhibit. It does not say that the Empire becomes the First Order. As you were told yesterday, do not just copy the information from the Legends page. Many of the ship names may not necessarily be the same in Canon as they were in Legends, so just copying is inaccurate. Speculating
Please stop speculating in Wookieepedia articles. I'm sure there will sooner or later be a source where Kylo Ren's birth name is explicitly stated to be Ben Solo, but for now, that's unverified info. Same with your addition to the New Republic article—is there a source that explicitly states that it was dissolved after the destruction of the Hosnian system, or is that just extrapolation? Considering the host world of the New Republic was rotating, it's not a given that the entire government was dissolved due to the destruction of one system.
