GIFs

I'm not jSarek, but since the answer is a relatively clear cut one I'll answer for him: per image policy, animated GIFs are strongly discouraged. You may upload them solely for use on your userpage, but you must tag it with {{user-image}} (and note you're only allowed 3 user images). Also, it is inadvisable to reupload something after it has been deleted by an admin. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 12:00, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Re:

No problem. But next time you post, type in four tildes (~~~~). That will automatically display your username and time of edit. You should have told me the name of page I fixed as well. I had to look up the page history of my talk page, then scroll through your contributions just to figure everything out. Soresumakashi 22:32, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Unsourced images

  • Follow the instructions on the upload page at the time of the upload, or your uploads will continue to be deleted. Reupload an image that has been deleted by an administrator without correcting the reason it was deleted, and you will be blocked. "KOTOR ERA picture from comic" and similar descriptions are not proper sourcing and will not be accepted. Thank you, and have a Wookiee-tastic day. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 12:08, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
    • Please follow the instructions on the upload page whenever uploading anything. It's not that difficult to understand. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 00:42, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
    • i've allready repost all pictures with CORRECT sorce. I hope now they are ok. Fjodin (Talk)
      • Not quite. As the upload page clearly states, and shows, there is a template to be used, which you have failed to do. Please read the instructions on the page if you somehow haven't already, and alter the image pages accordingly, adding the infobox and including {{comicpanel}} in the licensing field for the images from Tales of the Jedi. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 01:20, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
        • I've done it :) Please tell me if there is something wrong, but i've add {{comicpanel}} now. . Fjodin (Talk)
  • You're doing well with the sourcing and formatting, but I must now warn you that fan-colored images are not permitted. Having played Galactic Battlegrounds and also disassembled the game files, I can tell you that the color version of Pekt doesn't come from the game. As nice as it is, it's not allowed if it doesn't come from an official source. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:10, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Please do not leave empty tags in the infobox template, such as [[]] or [[Category:]]. If you don't have a category to input, then leave it blank. Also, when you put the image licensing tag in the infobox, please delete the duplicate licensing heading and tag, as well as the duplicate Summary heading. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:10, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
    • Ok...But I am making progress! :)

Droid turret image

Hey, thanks for the higher-res image of the Death Star droid turret. I had to revert your image, though, because it included Han Solo too. It's kind of a gray area, but for the SNES Star Wars games, it's better to get images without the player-controlled characters present, since we don't know which character is the "canonical" one to complete each level due to the possibility to character select. In other words, it's better to include just the stationary characters who don't depend on player input in the images from those games. If you can get an image like that, it'd be perfect! ~SavageBOB sig 06:38, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
