Sourcing

Just a heads up: your recent edit to the Marg Krim article added information without proper referencing. You can see our sourcing policy for how to properly reference. If all the information in a reference can be sourced to a single source, then just insert the reference at the end of the paragraph. Every paragraph must have at least one reference. Quotes

          • As stated by the others above, you are still formatting incorrectly. The Visual Editor is prone to causing problems with formatting, so we recommend going to your Preferences and switching to the Source Editor. Adding/removing quotes

While your efforts to add quotes are appreciated, I ask that you do not remove other quotes where possible. For example, for Domino Squad, you could have easily placed the older quote under the "History" section. Template usage

Quotes

Hey there. I'm just letting you that I've reverted your changes to Grievous on the grounds that the placements of those quotes you moved were better suited where they originally were. I'm also just letting you know that a page's main quote should be the quote that represents their character better than the others, and while the one you moved to the top was alright, the current one is better suited as it's showing both Grievous's lust for power and arrogance, which is his main personality. Hope this helps you, but if it doesn't, feel free to leave a message on my talk page or one the site administrators, or you can also read through the site policies as well for some additional help. Formatting

You need to ensure proper formatting. You should switch to the source editor to do so when inserting templates such as {{Quote}} and {{Dialogue}}. Because of the highly emotional and sensitive nature of this CT forum, the public attention it's receiving, as well as my own opinions on the vote, I consulted with five other administrators before reaching this decision, two of whom supported this CT, two of whom opposed it, and one who has currently abstained, to provide balanced and objective feedback and eliminate any perception of attempting to alter this vote's outcome. All of the administrators agreed that this a definite violation of the rule and that the integrity of our policies and procedures must be upheld. Main quotes

Hi DrHolocron. With regards to the main quotes on articles, the top quote should be discussed, rather than being abruptly changed. Fact templates

Hey there, please do not remove the fact template unless you have actually fixed the issue, the dates cannot be sourced to the comics so they require a written note to explain why events take place in the years stated. Copy pasting

Changing quotes

Hey, DrHolocron. For the past few days, I've noticed that you have a lot of interest in changing quotes on the page for General Grievous. While we do encourage people to continue editing and increase the quality of certain pages, which includes the quotes, some quotes on Grievous's page don't necessarily require changing and are fine where they are, such as this. Also, as you've been told before, you should consult the wider community regarding quote changes for major characters before making those changes very suddenly, since other users can provide advice on whether or not certain quotes should be changed. One more thing, for most of the quote work you've done on Grievous, are certain words actually emphasized, or is that your own emphasis, such as the main quote from Grievous Intrigue or the first quote used in Personality and traits?
