I've already proposed an idea. But, aside from that, not much really, although today I reverted vandalism on the Sarlacc article (yay!!!), because an anon, or IP, blanked out the page, though it could have been by accident, but still. Fanon Wiki

Hey BobafettH23, I have recently become the head administrator on the Fanon Wiki, the wiki where people can write fanon articles pertaining to movies, books, shows, and other things like that. The reason I'm telling you this is, if you know anything about Lord of the Rings enough to write fanon, since I want to move the articles to a seperate lotrfanon wiki, I can only do this if there are a lot of fanon lotr articles, as well as the staff would do it for me, though I need help. And if you created a lot of them, I would be willing to make you a sysop on there. It's just an offer, you don't have to if you don't want to. Brain40

  • I don't think an anti-vandalism squad is a good idea: see Forum:Deny recognition for some of the rationale behind this. Projects like this are more likely to attract vandals than stop them: they expect us to block and revert their edits, as a general rule. Any changes in anti-vandalism procedures are simply focused on blocking them and reverting them quickly (which is why we have administrators) and making the experience fairly dull. While I certainly encourage you to revert bad edits, warn bad editors with templates like {{Test2}}, and report vandalism when you see it, we will probably be deleting this subpage. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:23, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
    • The Friday Night Fight Page will also be shut down soon. If you want to copy the code or print it or something, you have a few days before the administrators delete it. Please come back! There is no trace of Katarnpedia anymore and next year we'll promise to limit the joke to the main page and not make all the links go to kyle katarn. Hey, I do what I can to stop vandalism. I am recent changes patroller a after all. It can take some time to revert vandalism, because I have to manually revert it by going to history.
