Editing

Thanks for experimenting with Wookieepedia. Your test worked and has been removed. Please see the help page on editing if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you need to make further test edits, please use Wookieepedia:Jundland Wastes. Thanks. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 16:39, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

  • I'm going to reiterate this message, with added emphasis. Before making further edits, please take the time to read through and understand Wookieepedia's policies. Your edits have been reverted because, quite frankly, they are not encyclopedic and add little to the articles in question. Repeated failure to adhere to Wookieepedia's policies will be regarded as disruption and will result in a block from editing. Thank you for your cooperation. Hi Alex

Hi Alex. I'm not sure what help or advice your talking about since I'm not sure we've interacted before, however if you do need help or advice about the Wiki feel free to ask and I'll do what I can. I really enjoyed Battlefront II and reckon that III looks good so far, although obviously they haven't released that much information yet. I take your a fan of the series? Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:31, July 14, 2013 (UTC)

  • I'm afraid I don't really play battlefront online any more and I can't even remember what my account was called. Sorry to let you down, if I ever find my old copy and reinstall it I'll let you know! Ayrehead02 (talk) 11:13, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
    • Hey again Alex what's up? You said you needed to talk? Ayrehead02 (talk) 22:30, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
      • What problems are you having with posting pictures? I'm not sure I do know anyone called Irvin, are they a user or an in universe character? Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:04, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
        • No I don't really use it sorry. What images are you trying to upload? Ayrehead02 (talk) 16:04, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
          • What steps are you referring to? The time and edit requirements or the fields you need to fill out? Ayrehead02 (talk) 22:54, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
            • Sorry Alex there's no way to skip the source, copyright and description fields when uploading an image they have to be filled out due to site policy. However they're not too hard to fill out once you get the hang of it. For the source just add a link to the book, comic, episode or film that image is originally from. The copyright drop down menu is pretty descriptive in terms of options so you just pick the one which describes your image and finally description is just a description of what's going on in the image. As for Facebook I don't use it so I'm afraid I can't add you. Ayrehead02 (talk) 20:11, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Capitan Rex

It's currently unknown what happens to Rex after order 66 since nothing's told that story yet. Hopefully it will be answered in Star Wars Rebels! Ayrehead02 (talk) 02:24, September 12, 2013 (UTC)

Cosplay

Hey again Alex. I don't cosplay particularly although I'm interested in maybe making a costume one day. I live in the UK not America. Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:04, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

  • Sounds impressive! I've never read many of the Moon Knight comics, was always more of a Batman guy myself. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:39, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

Finding others

Hi again Alex. What do you mean by finding others to talk to? As in others on this wiki? If you're looking to chat with other Wookieepedians then the IRC might be your best bet. On people's talk pages a lot of other editors might not want to chat and generally only discuss matters concerning editing the wiki. You could also check the forums but make sure to read the rules on what you can post there. A better place to try and chat about Star Wars might be the Jedi Council Forums, a different website. Ayrehead02 (talk) 18:27, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

  • The IRC is like a chat channel but your probably a bit young to use it. Those are infoboxes, to add them you need to find the correct templates. I see IFYLOFDs posted some links below which will help you out on how to use feature like inoboxes to write articles. Ayrehead02 (talk) 01:17, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Articles

Read this and this. And this. IFYLOFD (Enter the Floydome) 00:57, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

Writing an article

Hi Alex I had a good Christmas I hope yours was fun as well. Where did you see the picture of the Jedi, if it's from an official source then you should be able to make an article for it if one doesn't already exist. The Ewok village game randomly generates Ewoks if I remember correctly so we don't make articles for them, although you could make articles for them on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki. You could find other users by looking in the Wookieepedians category, there should be a link to it at the bottom of my userpage. Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:00, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

  • Sadly as cool as that Jedi is it's an image drawn by a fan and so not official, meaning it isn't allowed an article on the wiki. You could make an article on the fanon wiki for it but you should get the artists permission first if you do. Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:13, January 16, 2014 (UTC)
    • You can't upload the deviantart image to this wiki since its fanart I'm afraid it can't go on any page except maybe your userpage, although I don't know about how copyright on fanart works. Ayrehead02 (talk) 20:37, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

Tildes

Hello Alex. Please always remember to always put 4 tildes after a message, like this ~. Thank you. LIGHTNING12345678910 (talk) 16:11, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Wars

Hey Alex, a good place to start looking at that would be the Conflicts category. If you want some actual sources then The New Essential Chronology and The Essential Guide to Warfare are your best bets. Also don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes :) Ayrehead02 (talk) 18:42, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

  • Hope you had a good star wars day to Alex. Always happy to help! Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:40, May 5, 2014 (UTC)

Happy New Year

Hi Alex, hope you had a good christmas and new Year! Only Depa Billaba's canon tab should include the information about Kanan, which is currently does. This is because he isn't mentioned in any legends source and so does not exist in the separate legends continuity. Marvel is producing the new comics starting this month with the new Star Wars series, then with Star Wars: Darth Vader next month and Star Wars: Princess Leia the month after. Star Wars: Kanan then starts in April. I'm not sure if Marvel are going to reprint any Dark Horse stuff but they might given that legends books are still being reprinted. I'm sad that so much content is now not considered canon, but the new canon content is all good stuff, and a lot of it brings back old elements into canon so I have high hopes. Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:09, January 4, 2015 (UTC)

  • It is sad, although some EU sources are still going such as the Fantasy Flight Games products and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Ayrehead02 (talk) 12:00, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
    • That's true, but I think we'll be ok. The stuff they've done so far like Rebels and Tarkin are pretty good in my opinion. Also don't forget to use asterisks * or colons : when indenting messages, not spaces as it creates scroll boxes. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:02, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
      • I'm reserving judgement on the crossguard lightsaber until I see it in action. I think it might turn out be be quite cool, but we'll have to wait and see. Ayrehead02 (talk) 11:43, January 13, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Celebration news

Hi again Alex. I was incredibly excited to see the new trailers for both Battlefront and the Force Awakens and am looking forward to both! I hope you enjoyed them as well. By the way, if you're looking to discuss new Star Wars releases you should try going on websites like the boards on TheForce.net where loads of fans constantly discuss all things Star Wars!
