There has been some brief discussion on Discord regarding deleting all filming location articles. I'll likely scrap most of this and instead focus on incorporating this information (and that of existing articles) into the BTS sections of relevant pages (ideally both canon and legends), followed by a big old TC.

Filming locations

While scrolling through wanted pages I noticed many real-world locations, leading me to this template. Most links were red and many weren't even filming locations (like Disneyland). About 40 wanted pages were eliminated by deleting them from this template. I plan on making articles for the rest, improving existing articles, and then gradually adding more locations. I'm just doing it all at once - most of them will be stubs regardless.

  • Add: Hardangerjøkulen Glacier and Finse 1222 Hotel (sufficiently significant?)
  • Name changes: Phang Nga Bay (not Phuket)
  • Questionable: Canary Wharf tube station, all scenes were cut

Current version:

Dubrovnik

{{--Top|real}}

Dubrovnik is a coastal city in Croatia located on the Adriatic Sea. The city and its streets were used for many external shots of the gambling haven Canto Bight on the planet of Cantonica, making Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi the first movie in the franchise to film on real city streets (I think? source???).

As with many other Star Wars filming locations, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
