Skellig Michael was featured in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

Skellig Michael, named Sceilg Mhichíl in Irish, is an island of the Republic of Ireland that featured as the Temple Island of the planet Ahch-To in the sequel trilogy. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a nearby smaller island is named Little Skellig. Skellig Michael's population of seabirds, including puffins, inspired the creation of the porg creature, and its geographical and historical features, including a largely intact early medieval Christian monastery, were prominently featured throughout Rian Johnson's 2017 film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi.

The island first appeared in Star Wars at the end of the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams, and, after The Last Jedi, briefly appears in Abrams' 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[1]
