Urukabb Slipways was a starship manufacturing company that, years before[1] 228 BBY,[2] produced the Stingray, a ship designed to transport cargo from sea to land and the reverse. The ship was owned by the family of the Heliko female Haze Delik from the aquatic world Helikoprion.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] Delik, who now owned the Stingray, mentally noted the ship's construction by Urukabb Slipways.[1]
Behind the scenes
Urukabb Slipways was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Urukabb was first mentioned in The Jedi Academy Sourcebook, a 1996 roleplaying sourcebook written by Paul Sudlow for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4]
