A human[1] served as a stormtrooper in the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era.[2] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the stormtrooper was present aboard the Raider-class corvette King's Ransom after Imperial captain Cerasus Ehllo retrieved his wife Aryssha from the Starros family homestead on Hosnian Prime so she could have their unborn children in Imperial care. Aryssha later made her way through the ship to send a message to her family. As she was sending the message, Aryssha overheard the trooper speaking with another about what food they were eating. This trooper stated it had been the third time that week they were eating joppa stew, to which the other trooper responded that things could be worse, that they could be eating Nine-Egg Stew. The two troopers then entered the room Aryssha was in, and, in attempt to hide what she had been doing, Aryssha pretended to feel faint. This trooper informed the other they needed to get Captain Ehllo. Aryssha agreed and asked if they could get a glass of juice, claiming she thought she was just tired. The trooper's partner told Aryssha they would get the drink. With this, the two troopers left the room. Shortly after they arrived back at the room with Ehllo and some juice for Aryssha. The captain and his wife then went to have something to eat, though as she left the room, Aryssha informed Ehllo that his troopers were to be commended for what they had done, and thanked them. Ehllo then told the troopers to return to their duties aboard the ship.[2]

  1. 1.0 1.1 Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, New Edition establishes that the stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire were all humans.

  3. The events of Star Wars: Sana Starros take place between those of issue 31 and issue 38 of the 2020 Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic-book series. Issue 31 is also set after Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 3 ABY, while issue 38 is a part of the Star Wars: Dark Droids crossover event, which is followed by the events of issue 43 of the 2020 Star Wars series. Furthermore, the flashbacks of issue 50 of the Star Wars series—which follow the events of issue 43—take place approximately twenty-two years after Sheev Palpatine's ascension to the title of Galactic Emperor. Since Timelines dates that event to 19 BBY, the flashbacks must occur around 3 ABY and the events of Sana Starros must therefore also take place around the latter year.
