- "We come from a system far away."
- ―Captain Fsir, to Senior Captain Thrawn
A system was the home of the Watith sentient species.[1] In 18 BBY,[3] Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo (Core name "Thrawn") arrived at the Zyzek system, where he inquired the established traders and nations if they knew the whereabouts of the Watith home and if there was any Watith present to deliver his "prisoners"—which he had none of—to. The leader of the Kilji Illumine, Generalirius Nakirre then attempted to obtain information on the prisoners—which Thrawn did not provide—and also attempted to obtain the prisoners to "deliver them to their home," however, when Thrawn asked if he knew where that home was, Nakirre withdrew his attempt and soon after confrontated Thrawn, who had annoyed the Generalirius by rejecting the Kilji's offer of sharing the Kilji religious beliefs with the Chiss.[1]
Behind the scenes
The star system was mentioned in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good, the second volume in Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy by author Timothy Zahn.[1]
