A species was captured by the Vagaari species.[1] In 27 BBY,[2] the Vagaari slaver fleet[3] imprisoned members of the species within zero-g plastic bubbles, using them as living shields during their attack on the Geroon species' homeworld. Force Commander Thrawn, the commander of the Chiss assault cruiser Springhawk, explained to his Human companion Maris Ferasi that unable to not kill them while fighting the Vagaari, and that they could not help. Instead, they could focus on the destruction of the Vagaari.[1]

The species appeared in the 2006 novel Outbound Flight, written by Timothy Zahn.[1]
