A sentient species existed on the Outer Rim planets Syrinx Prime and Vekura. The populations of this species hailing from these two planets formed two distinct cultural groups: the Syrinxians and the Vekurans.[1] Sometime between 40 BBY and 34 BBY,[2] the two groups went to war with each other, as the Vekurans invaded Syrinx Prime following centuries of distrust and tension. Some members of this species were susceptible to Jedi mind tricks.[1]
