- "I've brought my own slicer to get you all fake chain codes. It's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I like my own work and this style won't be traced back to you."
- ―A Mizi, to a crew of Crimson Dawn personnel
A slicer worked under a Mizi in the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate during the Imperial Era. While infiltrating the Hammers criminal syndicate[1] around 13 BBY,[2] they traveled to the planet Thorum. Under the Mizi's direction, the slicer created falsified chain codes for several Crimson Dawn colleagues, including Thallia, Olio, and Qi'ra.[1]
Once in Crimson Dawn's house on the planet, the Mizi explained that she had brought the slicer to make them fake identities for the upcoming mission, trusting her own personnel's work rather than their handiwork. She then sent Olio and Thallia away with the slicer to settle in. Not much later, Qi'ra—while pretending to be a wealthy grain buyer named Elesa Norre—reflected on the slicer's efforts in creating her ruse.[1]
