- "Hey, mister, have you seen these people?"
"You mean around here? Hmm. Can't say I have." - ―Sola questioning the shopkeeper
A human male shopkeeper operated a booth on[1] the planet[2] Tatooine in the city Mos Eisley that sold toy starships and other vehicles.[1] At some point no earlier than 1 BBY,[3] the child Sola showed them a hologram of two individuals he was searching for, Bennet Sten and Myler Sten, but the shopkeeper had not seen them.[1]
The shopkeeper had brown hair and light skin. They wore tan-colored robes over a lighter shirt and had a white hat.[1] Their stall had hanging models of a BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bomber, J-type diplomatic barge, GR-75 medium transport, MC80 Star Cruiser, Sphyrna-class Hammerhead corvette, T-16 skyhopper, TIE/ln space superiority starfighter attached to a model of[4] the Galactic Empire's Death Star superweapon,[2] and a Storm IV Twin-Pod cloud car attached to a model of Cloud City[4] on the gas giant Bespin.[2]
Behind the scenes
The shopkeeper first appeared in "Yuko's Treasure," an animated short film produced by Kinema Citrus and released on Disney+ as part of the third volume of the non-canon Star Wars: Visions series[1] on October 29, 2025.[5] The shopkeeper was voiced by Shoumaru Zouza in the original Japanese and by A.J. Beckles in the English dub.[1]
