A Nautolan security chief served in the royal fleet of the Pijali monarchy on the Inner Rim planet Pijal during the Republic Era. He worked alongside several other crew members, including a comm officer, under a captain who commanded a Corellian corvette.^[1]

In 40 BBY,^[2] following the Pijali Queen Fanry's coronation, his captain betrayed their monarch by supporting the world's former regent, the Jedi Rael Averross. The security chief followed the captain's lead and helped transport Averross and his companions—Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi—aboard their commanding officer's cruiser toward the queen's flagship, the Righteous. The Nautolan was nervous about their endeavor, believing the monarch's ship would attack them. He informed the Jedi when the flagship powered up its weapons and nervously reiterated when they remained charged. Not long after, Fanry surrendered aboard her flagship when held at blaster-point by her former attendant, Cady.^[1]
