A pirate transport was utilized by[2] Captain Brutus' crew[4] during the New Republic Era. Around 9 ABY, a group of pirates led by[2] First Mate[1] Gunter used the vessel on their journey to the planet Lanupa,[2] where they captured former Captain Silvo at a local hotel. However, the transport was destroyed by a New Republic squadron of X-wing starfighters, which arrived to rescue the invaded hotel.[3]

The pirate transport debuted in "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates," the fifth episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,[2] which aired on December 24, 2024.[5] Before the premiere, the ship was first portrayed in the official trailer of the series.[6]
