A remote moon in the Outer Rim was the site of the Moonbender Colony, a settlement run by a group of former bounty hunters known as the Remainders.[1] Between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY,[3] Sith apprentice Darth Maul was sent to the moon by his master, Darth Sidious, who tasked him with destroying the Remainders as a test of his abilities. Despite the efforts of the Remainders to protect the Moonbender Colony, Maul defeated the colony's defenders, although at least one resident survived.[1]
