A mech droid was a type of droid used by a cyborg that resided on the planet Mandalore. The cyborg was able to get out of the droid, and also had another form of droid, the Spider Tank.[2] Around 9 ABY,[1] the cyborg captured the Mandalorian Din Djarin. It was later destroyed by Bo-Katan Kryze when she arrived on Mandalore to save Djarin.[2]
Behind the scenes
The mech droid first appeared in "Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore,"[2] the second episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian's third season, which premiered on Disney+ on March 8, 2023.[3]
