This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1]
Biology and appearance
This bipedal species was distinguished by their hulking stature, large features, wideset eyes, and brown[2] or green skin.[1]
Species in the galaxy
Torra Doza owned a doll of a member of this species.
In 10 BBY,[3] a member of this species served as an enforcer within Batalla's outlaw group, helping to restrain and lock up Landonis Balthazar Calrissian[1] who had previously been apprehended.[4] Later, sometime between 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[5] a member of this species could be found at an Imperial Impound Facility on the planet Iakar, present when Buck Vancto arrived to apprehend Corbus Tyra.[2]
By 34 ABY,[6] pilot Torra Doza kept a stuffed doll version of a member of this species on a shelf in her room aboard the supertanker fuel depot, the Colossus.[7]
Behind the scenes
The original concept for Senna created by Christian Alzmann.
The species made their illustrated debut in the 2018 comic issue, Lando - Double or Nothing 3, written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Paolo Villanelli.[1] This species was originally conceived to represent the character Senna, part of the Rogue One team seen in the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Senna was intended to be a duo with the character of Lunak, though ultimately these two characters influenced the duo of Baze Malbus and Chirrut Îmwe, while the original design for this species undergo several design changes, eventually becoming the mercenary Moroff, the Canon iteration of the Gigorans,[8] and later the Gigoran Senna as well.[9] Art for this species was initially created by Christian Alzmann, a concept artist on Rogue One.[8]
