Imperial Impound Facility

The Imperial Impound Facility was a facility on[2] the planet[3] Iakar where the Galactic Empire impounded captured starships.[2] Between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[4] the Millennium Falcon was impounded at the facility sometime after[2] the mission to Mollo Tanka, when it was last in possession of[5] the criminal Corbus Tyra.[1] Tyra then traveled to the facility to get it out of impound,[2] but was instead taken into custody by Marshal Buck Vancto of the Benelex Marshal Service. After Tyra was successfully extracted by the crew of Khel Tanna, as well as the bounty hunter Greedo,[1] they returned to Iakar to infiltrate the facility where they recovered the Falcon.[2]
