According to a mythology of the Galactic Frontier, a male individual was an oppressive king who was defeated by a peasant through patience.[1] By around 379 BBY,[2] Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani learned of the story about the king while studying ancient frontier mythologies. Nitani received tattoos on her arms describing scenes from some of the mythologies, including the story about the king, with each of the stories containing a moral tale embedded with a lesson.[1] Around that year,[2] Nitani underwent her Jedi Trials on the world Batuu. After having difficulty locating the shield she had been tasked with finding, Nitani reflected on the stories, including the one involving the king, mentally noting that although she had taken the messages to heart and found the stories comforting, there was nothing in them that would help her complete her task.[1]
Behind the scenes
The king was mentioned in the short story "Shield of the Jedi," written by George Mann and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]
